But anyways, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, Judge Vincent Gaughan entered a warrant for R. Kelly's arrest, but won't put it into effect until tomorrow (Dec. 20), when Kells is ordered to appear in court at 9 a.m.
Prosecutors said Judge Gaughan has already been lenient with Kelly, letting him travel outside Illinois and continue with his tour while the trial proceeds, though Kelly has to get permission for every trip."This is just an abuse of the process," said AssistantState's Attorney Shauna Bolicker. Ruben is a good singer, and should not have been dropped after one flop album.

Ruben definitely has talent..but his attitude didn't help his albums sales neither. most of the material on his cds were okay, but you need to be able to connect with the public more than just through the music. when you are being interviewed, you should'nt carry yourself as if you've "arrived" so to speak. just my observation on the teddy bear over the last few years.
Hmmm ... I mean, ol' Ru is talented. But, he does not get good material. He is the male version of Kelly Price, great singer, dull discs! He needs to get some hot shit going and somebody who's gonna give him good material, good promo and good production. But I do think he gets the shaft Idol wise. A year or so ago, People did a special issue about the American Idols and he wasn't even on the cover!! I thought that was foul. But he's unremarkable and needs to make himself stand out, which has been the case with most of the male singers to come out over the last several years in R&B.
Please! Y'all act like Ruben had a steller cd. He released a cd, it did ok, then he went and released his second R&B cd and the first single sounded EXACTLY like "Sorry 2004" and that's where he lost me.
He has NO personality and you have to realize that personality in ADDITION to great songs is what made the public fall in love with Luther and Gerald... so with the loss of BOTH of them, Ruben should have been in line to take the throne.
Fortunately, some record companies will realize that we NEED a Luther or a Gerald, somebody who makes good MUSIC and is not all smoke and mirrors, read; asthetics - and they'll give him a contract, some great MUSIC... and y'all will either sing along, shut the fukk up... or buy the shit on bootleg like you did the FIRST two (which contributed to him getting booted)

It just amazes me Clay Aikens and Ruben both put an album out, both albums basically flop, and J Records keeps Clay, and drops Ruben. Damn!! where is the respect for urban/R&B music?
Ruben is a great singer, his first 2 cd's were good but the last was awful. I hope he finds a label that beileves in him he picks better songs...Seems only j records got love for Miss Keys!

Honestly, your blog entries have been so fucked lately on MOST sections, (save maybe SOHH Dirty), that I'm really about to stop using your site period. Many of us just don't have the time for SOHH's bullshit any longer. Not personal, but life is too damn short to be fucking around with haters and kids on blogs. Add to that group most of these fucking clowns like Gyant and Streetz that write your blogs.
