But back to Kelly Rowland... this re-release is actually smart for her and her career. Depending on how many albums she has left in her contract, this re-release with some new material might cut down on her debt to Columbia and Mathew. (no last names please).

I'm not buying all this re-releas B.S, maybe if they took the time, to know exactly what direction they wanted to go with thw album, they won't have to be re-releasing, child really needs to move on, and maybe get back to that acting career of hers, she was tryiing to get off the ground.

Ms. Kelly is underrated and Kelly herself is too. This song isn't bad, hopefully it does something for her. smh at y'all for acting like Solange wrote her whole album. She wrote like on only one. Solange is a better writer than her sister (if you can even say that Beyonce writes). They made bad single choices, hopefully this will lift her on her feet and get success.

You need a hearing aid. She says "and that BIG SEA don't look so pretty no more" in reference to the saying that there are more fishes in the sea. I think Solange is a great songwriter. Keep in mind she writes the music, too, not just the lyrics.
Kelly needs to release "Still In Love With My Ex." These record labels are so stupid! That song would be huge if they did things right. If not, THEN they can re-release it. But I'll tell you one thing, that song with Gym Class Heroes isn't going to do crap because 1) GCHeroes are already 15 minutes ago and 2) the song is bland. It's lame and nothing sets it apart from the pack. There is no way that song will even become a minor hit, even on the R&B charts.

You know Kelly said that Beyonce approves every song before it goes on her album, THIS ISH IS GARBAGE, I cannot believe Kelly honestly believes this song was worth recording. Why are they lying to her? She does not have an honest soul in her camp because if she did, they would have told her 98% of songs on her albums were garbage, just a pitiful effort at solo artistry. The problem is Kelly is not a solo artist. Kelly find your identity, any identity, damn and do not record another song until you do, please for the sake of your career (or lack thereof).

I feel that Kelly is a talented singer, probably more talented than B. I think yhe Knowles camp don't want her to shine. They will always have those DC girls behind B, never in front. For Kelly to really be seen she needs to leave that management and label because they don't truly have her best intrest at heart.I believe they give her wack songs on purpose to keep her down
We are getting worked up for nothing, the reason I say that is because Kelly is fine with her position of being in Beyonce shadow and until Kelly sees the reality that she has more to offer then being a shadow she will forever remain in that box.

She has a record company who promotes her as if she's a brand new artist with no fan base and management whose so busy promoting his daughter, his other daughter, his wife and now, his grandson that he has no time to promote what SHOULD be his second best selling artist.
However, with House of Dereon' slated to have sales within the 100 million dollar range this year and Beyonce' endorsing everything from perfume to bacon grease... is there really a NEED to make Kelly a star and benefit financially from her?

She can't see that Solange is getting rich, Beyonce is beyond rich, Tina is getting rich, Matthew is getting rich, Solange's little boy is surely getting paid for his print work and will have a nice little stipend when he turns 18, even ANGIE is writing songs and making paper... everybody in the Knowles family is in some way gettin rich and makin paper...

bad move for kelly! there isnt a song on that album that screams "hit".... kelly needs to revamp her image, her vocals, production and songwriting... and whoever said amerie was a better songwriter than solange they kno nothing about good songwriting, now teedra thats a different story...
Did you all buy the original album? Its really not bad. I actually like several songs on the album, such as "The Show" with Tank and "Still In Love With My Ex" and "Addicted". The slow songs on her album might get you some booty if you know how to pimp it right. Hell, "The Show" could be a strip club joint, or at least that's what my girl did to it ;-)

I don't know what's wrong with ya'll but Love (written by Solange) was the BEST song on her album. It wasn't just me, all my sisters thought so too. That should've been a single, not that boring as "Ghetto".
Lighten up people. OK I agree that she is promoted alittle wrong and her single choices could be better but kelly is at the point where it doesn't even matter....she is probably just enjoying music and chillin. The girl doesn't need to sell anymore records 100 million is enough with destiny's child and I know if letoya still living of dc money just imagine what kelly has. Point is it's not about the money and selling the most all the time. She is doing what she loves and still makin more than all of us every year.
