Gyant said she was sick, had canceled at one point but still gave him the interview well after midnight last night.

Hey Soul Man. Kudos for landing the interview! I just did an album review of "As I Am" for my site and she is truly an amazing talent.

I was at the show last night and Alicia was off the hook! For real that lady is so talented. She was sick. She was drinking hot tea on stage but she was interacting with the crowd! At one point she was like I'm killing time trying to drink some tea, then she was like look I got sick over the weekend do you mind if I blow my nose! Let me tell you her vocals were on point! I gained even more respect for her singing through it although she wasn't feeling well. On Like You'll Never See Me Again (hell on all the songs) she sounds just like the recorded versions if not better. When I got in the car I just rode in silence cause nothing else would do after hearing Ms. Keys do her thing. She looked beautiful and the new songs all got me hyped to go and buy the CD come 11/13. Superwoman is going to be the new anthem for us ladies, and I can't wait to sing it at the top of my lungs in the car! Big up to SOHH for getting the interview I'll be checking back later for the rest.
