I admit it... at first only I went to the Bow Wow and Omarion Face Off (due Dec 11th) listening event for the free drinks.

It was held at this fly lil place that use to be the dollar movie theater but has since been transformed into a performance space/art gallery. It's kinda dope... and ambitious on their part.

When I got there I see they pulled out all the stops... the staircase was draped with these sexy ass females along the staircase welcoming everyone.

After open bar I stepped into the theater to see what Bow Wow and Omarion had to say. THEY SAID NO CAMERAS ALLOWED. But y'all know I did what I do....

Now I know a lot of peeps doubted Face Off... me included. But they have this song called "Hey Baby (Jumpoff)" which is fire. It's the next single. They premiered the video for it last night. And I kinda thought they LOOKED (not sounded) like Outkast.

Omarion got his hair blown out in the video and Bow Wow is doing choreography. It was kinda hot for them. "Hey Baby (Jumpoff)" is a hit... it samples LL COOL J's "Going Back To Cali" but has a new lil twist to it.

What was most curious was that there was a lot of talk about Jermaine Dupri as you can see from the video. I am beginning to feel like all this Bow Wow / J.D. ish is a stunt.

J.D. and Bow Wow have the same publicist and she was sitting in the back of the room. Not that it's a big deal... I just noticed her there and although she's worked with Wizzle for a while... with such close associations I can't imagine this wasn't all hashed out before anything went public.
