While Kelly Rowland is flossing her video for "Ghetto" featuring Snoop. Beyonce is busy building ghettos in low income area of Houston.

According to TMZ Beyonce and Kelly are opening a low-rise apartment complex in H-Town for families at risk.

Like you, a part of me wants to say WTF? But you can look a gift horse in the mouth, especially if that horse is wearing a dope ass lace front and the latest Derion what not.

The Knowles-Rowland Temenos Place Apartments will be a 43 unit, single room occupancy housing facility for men and women who are taking steps to improve their lives, after traumatic events of both natural and personal disasters.

So until that ghetto is up and running... get in to this "Ghetto."

That is a wonderful thing they are doing. You hear so many stories about the group sleeping arrangement in shelters. They will allow folks to have some dignity and not have to sleep with one eye open.

As for Kelly's song, I was soooo disappointed. The production and melody on that song is SLAMMIN, but those juvenile lyrics completely ruin it for me. I don't recall every experiencing that before so she has made history with me. What a waste.

Ouch!

That is my least favorite song on the album, so I have no urge to watch the video. I still say people should pick up Ms. Kelly though.

Kudos to the girls for helping out their community and giving back to their HOMEtown.

I kinda agree with you on that. I hated the lyrics...it's like a Soldier part 2...but the way she sung it, and the production was so on point...I can't stop listening to it. It's so weird to love and hate a song at the same time...lol

It's good to see the fortunate helping the unfortunate. nothing to hate about that.

as for the Kelly song: my wife and i were looking at the making of that video on BET lastnight like "WTF?" Why would anyone want to glamorize the ghetto? I came up in and around ghettos and there aint no sparkles and glitter everywhere like this video portrays. All i see is crime, violence, poverty, and hopelessness. Only ones rockin grills and cars with switches are the ones moving weight, something i'm sure Kelly knows nothing about. The song would be ok if the lyrics weren't so ignorant.

People at this site kill me. Ya'll know damn well if it was Beyawnce and Jay-Z, ya'll would be on it.

As for the apartments ... it's odd to me and I hope they don't turn out being slum lords or some shit.

Kelly is SO much better than overrated overexposed Beyonce

yeah i agree wiv DFDF her song n video is so nice n much better than beyonce everytym kelly does somethin she likes to do better than her

hye beyonce roxs ok she is the best

Why everybody hating on Beyonce give the girl credit where it is due. She's not overrated at all. She's doing her damn thing. The girl is multi-talented and doing her thing. She's who she is b/c she works hard....
