Jamie: Did Keyshia call you up and invite you to come over? How did it happen [that you moved in with her]?
Neffe: No, actually my mom had came to visit and I had just left my husband because I had recently found out that he had been sleeping with my first cousin for a year.
Jamie: What?!
Neffe: I was a little resentful about moving because I’ve been in California for so long and I didn’t want to come and be dependent on my sister. That’s just not me. But I needed to make that move because I was on the verge of having a breakdown. ... Everyone was thinking, oh she’s drunk, oh she’s an alcoholic. Not knowing that behind the scenes I was actually going through something.
Keyshia: I’m sure they knew you were going through something.
Neffe: I don’t think they did. Like when I’m out in the public and they go, “There’s Keyshia Cole’s sister,†or “You’re the crazy one. You have a shot of Patron today?†Who wants to hear that?

I wasn't feeling her before, but her first single is undeniable. I'll be makin this purchase. But don't this come out Sept. 11, the same day 50 and Kanye drop? if her label is smart, they should have pushed it back a week.

This chick is just a cheap imitation of MJB. I like the song but it's just getting too blatantly obvious that she is trying to do exactly what MJB did exactly the same way she did it. This new crop of R & B chicks is disgustingly unoriginal and lack any creativity. Tsk. Tsk

Keyshia Cole is the new Mary....Take it or leave it..like it or not...its true people,and u know it...neither one could really sing,but they make great good music.
Candy- I feel u neither one can sing at all. But i like Mary better she at least tries when she is not getting all crazy and reaching for notes she can't reach with a rope lol. Keyshia doesn't have any range and her voice always sounds strained. I am not crazy about the song or video and she does look like Mary from her "You bring me Joy" video lol!!
I think they both are talented diva with beautiful voices and I have mad respect for the both of them. I feel Keyshia career is on the rise and to be compare to Mary J is a honor. I love Keyshia new song and when her album drop I'm going to cop it. I got to see Keyshia do thang this Thursday night when she sings the national anthem for the opening kicker @ the NFL.
