Patti Webster issued a statement to the Associated Press on the 28th stating Usher's pending wedding to Tameka Foster was called off. She gave no details. None. Nada. Nunca. Zilch.

Any guesses on why? Did Chili's most recent visit with Mama Patton have anything to do with it? Was it too humid and Tameka's roots started separating from the tracks?

I guess pondering the reason doesn't comply with his request for privacy.

In true hater fashion, Soulman suggest that this is nothing but another stunt to get enough peeps interested so he can move some units when that album finally drops.

If this gets spun later as some sob story regarding Usher then I am convinced the battle with his fans at UsherForever.com and this freak show of a wedding was nothing more than a marketing plan.

I don't understand why Usher feels the need to resort to these smoke and mirror tactics. He makes good music and videos. Why can't he understand that propels his sales, not the drama? Furthermore, based on when the pregnancy reports came out Tameka should have a big fat belly by now. Is she preggers or what?

Well, I'm not buying the album with or without the drama, anyways. Didn't buy Confessions, either. (Yeah... that's right.) I'm quite tired of the male R&B scene. They're all the same. R. Kelly's new album is a hot ass mess, by the way.

Usher won't ever sell a lot again. He did good that one album because the first single was a club banger and it's singing so it reaches a wider fan base. All of his other albums didn't do that good so unless he has another hot first single, he won't sell a lot plus he's been out of the game too long. People like Akon have stolen some of his fan base.

I would have to agree with Nate on this one. The male R&B sucks. These guys all crank out the same shit.

As for Usher, I wasn't 1 of the million plus that helped set that record for him the last time and I don't have any plans of being 1 this go round. Usher is wack and furthermore all the drama surrounding his affairs (or stunts) as of late is starting to come across too bitch-like for me. Next!
