Ok, 95000 is good. It's not like rap where the first week is the only week an album sells. Other genres slowly burn, just like Amy. She has been consistent in her sales now her total is up there. Kelly should be ok.

Naw i didn't cop it because. When Kelly made the Like This Video it was 1st stupid. And because of that i didn't like the songs anymore. So i didn't cop the CD.
And isn't she from D.C because of Like This the beat sounded like a Go-Go beat.

95,000 aint bad ESP considering her single aint doin shit lol i mean Shop Boyz have the #2 single in the country & are #1 on TRL & only sold 52,000! now thats bad lol. im not sayin we expected them to sell alot of records since they are a gimmick but honestly who expected Kelly's oh so FINE ass to sell??? ESP on the same day T.I. dropped.

I got Kelly's album and I really like it. I recommend picking it up. And she is doing better than her last first week, so that is great!

It's a tight album and I hope people will wake up and take notice. It's so sad.

I hope she releases "Still In Love," then things might turn around for the better.

I like Kelly's face in the picture, but the dress is a little bit on the wack side. That's my guess to why it wasn't used for the cover. And Vito took the words outta my mouth. Rihanna had A+ promotion and the number 1 song and only sold 165k in its first week. Now that's an OUCH!!! Letoya Luckett had a minor hit and didn't fair much better either. In this age, having a hit song is only half of the battle.To me, that says despite the single, she was able to generate enough interest to sell that close to 100k. If she can find a way to make a hit outta one of her other singles, she might do decent. Plus, it could be much worst, she could be Amerie.

I like Kelly's cd and i was suprised that i liked it lol!! She killed it on that song "Love"!!! She should do good with the right singles released and Sulman that over is hot!!!! Way better than her MC Hammer u can't touch this pants rapped into a knot! lol!

I'm not surprised at her numbers. I already knew that she would only move around 100,000 units he first week. I feel really bad for her, because i really wanted her to do better this time around. This album can end up beoming a slow burner, but she needs to release the right singles. "Like This" was a good choice for the lead off single, but it didn't blow up as much as I thought it would. The next single should be "Still in Love With My Ex". I can see that being #1 on TRL.

"Comeback" is a terrible choice for the next single. That song is garbage and should have been left off the album. Kelly better step it up and start making moves in her solo career, or else that's a wrap. Well, until Beyonce's career begins to fade out, and then she all of a sudden wants to have a Destiny's Child reunion.

It's actually a pretty good album. I figured she'd move around 100k ... that really isn't all that bad, I don't think. She's got a steady fan base so I think she'll be good. I do recommend picking it up. The ballads are quite nice. LeToya didn't move much much more than that, maybe 120 or something like that. So, I'm not surprised. I like her record too.

I purchased Kelly's album and I love all of it. CJ--your right about her ballad sound. The media and everyone else only see Beyonce no matter who comes out, it is ashamed that we have to see her and hear her all of the time. I love her, but damn. Kelly is a good singer and has actual R&B music, but we choose to listen to music that is stupid and doesn't make any sense. Her music is for grown, mature people. Your right she needs to improve on live performances, but that doesn't make her a bad singer and should be given a chance. Look at who else you guys put on top who are here today gone tomorrow because of one fad song. Kelly keep pushing, you don't have to conform to what the media and every one wants you to be...

Kelly and Beyonce are fossils. Kelly is cocky and lacks stage presence. Beyonce is a flop actress, a yelling singer, and fat jello pudding pop. DC need to officially disband. I'm from France and her album came out on June 26th i heard the album way before that day and i loved it...so when it was in stores i bought it the very... all of the songs are hot!!! uptempos , ballads and stuffs...EVERY SINGLE SONG is hot...some sounds like Brandy's style but she said Brandy is among her influences plus She sounds really good! I love that album and i think y'all wont be disappointed in it... COP THAT SHIT!!

I went in the pick up TIP and I passed right on by Kelly's - peeps were waiting to bring out shipments of TIP while Kelly's sat still on the shelf. I listen to the entire CD and let's say I was uninspired. Numbers don't mean "great album" - look at Robin Thicke, Amy Winehouse - but with them being virtually unknown to the masses you would expect a slow burn - but Kelly Rowland only bringing in 100K? You mean people picked up more of Letoya Luckett's than Kelly's and Kelly has the BEST voice of DC? Kelly something is wrong with this picture...And if you continue to pretend that you don't know what it is; then I shall pretend that you are just a back up dancer for DC and YES I said back up dancer cause you didn't do but maybe 25% singing on the DC album at best...

i love kelly like the next person but i cant help but think of Letoya now! Does this mean that Letoya has been vendicted? I like Kelly Rowland as a person, but I don't think she is in this game to win. Kelly has no story other than being Beyonce's best friend. Honestly, it would have been better if she never had a solo career.
