Mathew Knowles Defends Beyonce, Not a Word About Kelly Rowland

Mathew Knowles spoke with "Extra" about Tumblina's stop, drop and roll last week.

In on ear and out the other...

Beyoncé’s video of her taking a spill during a concert has made the rounds on the internet. Despite the embarrassment she has felt, her father is extremely proud of the way she handled the fall:

I don’t think falling in life is a failure. I think what’s a failure is when you fall and you stay down. If you get up, then I call that success. So I’m proud ‘cause we all fall in life and the key is, ‘Do you get up and do you do it better?’ And for that I’m proud.


A couple questions:
- Was such an interview necessary?
- Didn't Kelly have a health related collapse but no one said anything?
- Isn't this SOHH last week?

Matthew and beyonce are acting like she fell to her death; chill out she had a lil slip and fall no need to make press release statements or do silly interviews surrounding her little trip & dive. they need to get over it. you know whut she fell, it was kinda funny, she didn't get hurt. that's the whole story. if oprah had fallen ppl would have laughed about it. the reason y its such a big "scandal" is bcuz they are making such a big deal about it. the whole youtube shut down just makes ppl the video more valuable and makes ppl want to c it even more. nobody likes to be embarassed but sometimes u just got to laugh it off.

Kelly needs new management, not because Matthew Knowles is a bad manager but because she just needs to be totally independent of Beyonce who unfortunately is now her competition. And anyone with any sense will know that Beyonce is a multi-million dollar brand and its the JOB of her father/manager to keep her image preserved an in tact. I would expect no less from any manager.

Billboard you need to get your facts straight.B has sold almost 6 million worldwide and fergie has sold over 3 million worldwide.Furthermore her re-release was pulled off the shelf 2 weeks after its release. and another thing if her album was so much of crap why did she outsell almost every female artist that came out last year with her.
