As far as singing goes, none of these new young guys can touch Trey in terms of sheer, unadulterated talent. But Nate is right, his first album was awful and dude's ego is ridiculous. He needs better songs that show off his singing and even though he sangin hard on Wonder Woman, the song ain't all that. I like Trey a lot but he need to put his head down and put in some real, quality work.

So his first album sucked? I'm a little confused as to what is a good album and what isn't. So bobby's fist album was good but this one wasn't? Honestly no one listens to the music or just the vocals anymore. If you say that Justin Timberlakes album is better than anything these cats put out could you only be saying that cause he was white. If he was black and didn't have timbalands beats on his album would you still have been one of the 3 million that purchased it. Well I haven't seen the video due to my damn computer so I'm not sure of any cockiness but I can't wait for Trey's cd to drop. I enjoyed the first one, I enjoyed his mixtapes and will love the new cd after hearing some of the leaked songs off of it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion which isn't going to affect mine. If you have a great singing voice and make good music I'm a supporter. So for me to support the Trey's, Ne-Yo's and the Chris Brown's in R&B isn't nothing. All three have their own style and are individuals so I can't compare them.

Come on now, "Gotta Go" , "Cheat on You" , "In the Middle" , "Hatin Love" , "I Gotta Make It" just to name a few ... hell he even got Aretha Franklin on the album ! That alone speaks for itself . People sleep on Trey's talent period ! If you was down with him since the mixtape scene then you would know how talented he is ! Peep out "Never Run" , "Set of Wings" , "Only You" .... He has worked with international artists & writes for other artists ! He can do R&B , Rap & Soul . What male R&B singer doing what he does right now ?
