Check out this in studio. Of course she's got Akon, Pharrell, Sean Garrett and the other usual suspects for the project.
I guess she is officially throwing her cap in the 'I wanna be Beyonce' ring.

Nicole is just fulfilling her dreams of being an entertainer. Not a fan of hers but I do not understand why she or someone like Rihanna are not given a chance in showing the audience what they have to offer without being compared to Beyonce. Let's not forget that Beyonce was once shadowing Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.
Nicole is very pretty and although she has a good voice, something about her being a solo artist is not interesting. I really liked her with the dolls and I believe part of her strength with that ensemble was she managed to always stand out . Without them, she's kinda just there.
I wish her success anyway but I doubt she will pull it off.

Why do we constantly compare our acts to one another to see who is "no1" if Maroon 5 and Linkin Park can coexist without constant comparisons, why cant we have more that one successful r&b/pop singer????

But that comment was just a pre-cursor to what the fans will eventually do.
With so many of the same producers and writers working on Nicole's project and her being a sex kitten that can dance.... fans and stans will break out the Beyonce comparisons.

Soulman, I think you are on point. Beyonce vs. Kelly vs. Amy now those are different singers. But I was just reading an interviwe with Rihanna and she was annoyed by the Beyonce comparisons and although I think there music sounds different, she had the same hair and same style last album, was working with Beyonce's choreographer, launched her new album with a jay-z single, and now has a make-up contract. I mean exactly whose blueprint does she thinks she is following? Now I don't even think those are the things that really make Beyonce, nor is she the first to do everything. But if you are going to be so close in the superfiical aspect; you are bound to get compared.
I think she's hot and she's going to do hella well. She did all the ground work for the pussy cat dolls. I read an article and it says that she was doing most if not all the work behind the scenes. She's been preparing for this. Plus the rest of the dolls just look like background dancers compared to her in the videos...

Anybody who collabs with the usual suspects should sell. That's one of the rules of hip hop and r&b. Akon, Pharrell, and Sean Garrett aren't exactly bored waiting for someone to work with them. If she doesn't sell, especially with the exposure from being in the PCD, then she should just quit the solo career and do another record with her girls
As far as the Beyonce, J-Lo, and Mariah comments, how do you compare the three? Mariah's in her own league vocally, in her career in general, and she co-writes all of her own stuff with maybe one other person. Beyonce's writing is suspect, but her strong point has always been her performances. J-Lo can't sing, perform, and hasn't done anything a TRUE artist has done beside SELL.
J-Lo can definitely sing and her dancing is awesome not to mention sexy. Beyonce is also hot and she is what's in right now. As for Nicole from the pussycatdolls I don't see her being the next beyonce not even close, but I could be wrong lets see what she has to bring but I doubt she will bring much.

Ummm, DC didn't sell any where near 150 million records and B only has 9 grammys, all with other people. She's never won anything on her own. Letoya Luckette has 2 grammys for Bills and Say My Name which she also calloborated on so what are you talking about?

Actually Beyonce has won 10 Grammys, 7 solo and 3 with Destiny's Child. And it has been mentioned in quite a few places that DC has sold over a 100 million records. So research again.

Nicole is a great singer! Especialy singing 'Baby Love' and 'I'll Be Your Love' they're awsome. Great voice, stunnin' looks + gawjus! But I have to agree with afew comments up there, she was abit better with the Dolls. But very cool ;]

Comparing Rihanna to Beyonce is I agree, stupid as hell but Nicole Schersinger isn't talented at all. Other then sexing up everything shes nothing without the other girls from PCD. Now JLo, shes ok but what we really need to discuss is Mariah Carey has the best voice out of all of them and none of them, Beyonce, Rihanna or Nicole can top her. If you want to talk about a sexy pop artist, go check out Britney Spears, the queen of pop music.
