Go head, Kelly! She is down with Bey for life and it's a beautiful thing to see her stand up for Bey. Because you know the media just wants her to diss Beyonce one day and she hasn't fallen into the trap.

Beyonce's performance in the movie was average at best, which is actually pretty good for a novice, but Kelly is just playing the good friend or sister by her overly-biased praise of her performance. I agree with Bird, it's time to think about self and less about the Knowles, hasn't she learned anything from Beyonce? At the end of the day, she's second-banana to one of the most popular women in the world, not bad if I must say. Kelly, do us all a favor, invest wisely and live off the Destiny's Child money. In fact, make money because you were in Destiny's Child because a solo career is not in the cards. It's okay, millions of girls would gladly trade places with you.

Not only has Beyonce' done a phenomenal job of separating herself completely and TOTALLY from Destiny's Child in her successful attempt to become a brand in and of itself... but she has actually done a 160 and neglected to mention anybody who has inspired her over the years - remember in the begining it was, "Janet Jackson was my inspiration.. I used to do all the routines, blah blah blah"??

Now, you'd be hard pressed to find a PHOTO of the two of them standing within 50ft of one another... not to mention that when that whole superbowl thing happend, Janet tried to do damage control by asking to do a remix of one of the songs on Damita Jo with Beyonce and Beyonce's people said, "No, it's not the right time!" WTF??

This is your idol and you have the chance to do a song with her and suddenly, you can't?

I'm convinced... If Kelly can't see that the Knowles clan is all about - the Knowles clan... then that's on her, but like a previous poster, I say, "invest wisely" because at the end of the day, Solange, Angela and even Solange's little boy will have more money in the bank than she does very soon.

I agree with the comments above about Kelly putting the focus on herself. I know that Kelly looks like the Knowles' pet, but you never know what's going on in her head. Let me say this, I think Beyonce is a goddess. But her performance in Dreamgirls was like her performance in Carmen and Pink Panther and that corny movie with Cuba Gooding, nothing special.

On stage Beyonce has it, her talent is undeniable and leaps out at you, forcing you to acknowledge it. When it comes to movies, not so much. She does do a good enough job of being vunerable and letting her emotions come across.

Deserved or not she will get plenty of chances to make bigger and better movies, I hope she can improve on her acting though because beauty can only carry you so far and I'm sure she doesn't want to have a sex scence with Billy Bob Thornton to get an Oscar, so...

Excatly, it's not a stretch for her to play a beautiful singer/entertainer in any movie because that is what she is in real life. When Halle played a crack head in "Losing Isaiah" it was a real acting job, that's the kind of roles Beyonce needs to take if she wants people to take her acting seriously.

As talented and hard working as she is I think she can do it, but she is a ways away from winning an Oscar. I mean how many Black women have won Oscars for Best Actress, not supporting but the lead, just one, so yeah.

What movie was Kelly watching. Beyonce's performance was one of the weak spots of that movie. The character had no kind of depth or anything that made you want to root for her. She was just a prop. She has never been great in any of her movies because all the roles that she play are like her in interviews "bland and lifeless" Kelly get it together and focus on you and your career. Whether or not Kelly was asked to comment is not the point,it's more to the point of what she said(if in fact she said that Bey was "robbed") That is a moronic statement b/c in order to be "robbed" of an award you actually have to be a contender .

Secondly it's not hating if your opinion is that her acting was bad. Kelly could have easily said "I thought she was great in the movie" or "I felt as though she should have been nominated."
That sounds like a reasonable comment.
