Clef is the truth. His first album and last album IMO was fire. Him and Akon is gonna be crazy and I can't really stand Akon. Akon sounds like a singing Black Leprechaun.

Lauryn Hill hasn't been a great artist since the mid-90's. Yeah she was the truth back then but what material has she put out in the last 10 years??! She got too big on herself and lost her damn mind like Erykah Badu and Britney Spears (peep the hairdo). Wyclef is the only one still grindin and CURRENTLY getting Grammys. Blo! Blo! Haitian Caribbean Love!!

Best believe Claudette Ortiz is going to be "that chick" and that ish is going to flop. I'm surprised Akon has even made it this far in the music biz.

What's Wyclef talking about? He's making it sound like Lauryn Hill was just group filler. Excuse me, but it my opinion Lauryn was the only substance in that whole group and without her... nothing. (Good look for ditching Pras, though.) She was the only reason I was ever checking on the Fugee's stuff.

If Lauryn Hill never releases another studio album, I will still be content with the classic debut she left for us. People need to understand where she's coming from. She doesn't think she's too good for all of this, or at least I don't think so. It's just that these people are expecting the most from Lauryn and she is being very choosy with what she releases/is involved with. (Although, I don't know what possessed her to release that Unplugged album...)

Now let's be honest... how does it look for her when she is in crap like "Take It Easy" and "Foxy."

Plus, white people started jumping on the Lauryn bandwagon and bought some of her records. She had to let her children starve. That's a very emotional and sad thing.(If you get it, that's cool. If you don't... leave it alone.)

Was it for that Shakira song. That song's the worst crap I have ever heard from any of the Fugee members. (Yes... including Pras.) So I couldn't care less if he won a Grammy for that mess. Plus... the Grammys are a joke. Those Pussycat Dolls were nominated for best group performance hen only one of them sings!

Wyclef got talent. My favorite song right now is 'Celebrate' by him a Patti Labelle that song is a classic. His group will be successful. I hope the sing is Claudette cos she got pipes. Although she sounds a bit too much like Beyonce. Which ain't really a bad thing.
Laurryn is MIA, God knows if she will ever get it together, Wyclef should not be expected to wait for her

Lauryn Hill was the best one in the group! and you just cant replace that...Claudette maybe be good but she is no Lauryn Hill...and if she is half way decent she will still end up being better than Wyclef and will end up going solo. I sayin do you Clef but there wont be another Refuge like the first.

If this is the direction that Clef is gonna go in, he may wanna consider scooping up a female MC.
Here's my logic on that.

Pras, as far as I can remember wasn't a singer, he was an MC. Pras and Clef were the MC's and Lauryn was the singer.
If you're going to bring in a male singer, ala Akon. You may want to bring in a female MC. IMO.

Wyclef needs to get over himself. I don't know why Lauryn ever consider performing with these two individuals again anyway. You can listen to the three songs they did (Take it Easy, Wanna Be, and Foxy) and Lauryn's skill so far exceed them its a joke. She doesn't even fit with them anymore.

why would it be claudette? i mean i guess he could extend the offer but with her solo debut about to come out on interscope i think she'll pass.

Claudette is cool but if they added her it be like making a knock off of City High not The Fugee's
