Rich is fuckin with Atlantic in a major way. He's got some male R&B acts coming on his new label. Keep in mind Rich typically works with women and has only really grinded for two dudes-- Diddy (Making It Hard" featuring Mary J. Blige from Press Play) and Usher ("Take Your Hand" from Confessions). There may be one two other songs for Usher and I think something with Mos Def, but overall Rich has been a ladies man.

Rich Harrison is one of the most prolific and underated super producers in the game today... his resume is astonishing and not only can he make a hot record but he can craft a hot album, which is far more difficult... his brillant sound infuses hip-hop, r&b, and pop into a wounderous rythmic creation... "Annoying" when describing Mr. Harrison's sound couldn't be further from the truth...

Yea, he is soundin a little Ray J-ish and no, that is not a good sound. I'll have to take it home and hear it for real though. And the video game noises in the beat is rather annoying. Is that Bubble Bobble? LOL. Naw, but seriously. It could've been a hot song down a few octives and with more words in the chorus so I'll keep an ear on his work and hear a little more before I rule him out as far as workin with male vocalists.
This sounds horrible and annoying. He's sounds like a Ray J knock-off, and Ray J sounds awful as a singer. I am disappointed in Rich for going with a talented chanteuse as Amerie to another non-singing male destroying this thing we call music.

Personally, his beats are not annoying, many of you are not really checking for that amerie's first CD, DC's Soldier record, Me, Myself, and the joints with mary. Now, I will say that this sound like a bad c recreation of 1Thing with a Ray J soundalike, but i guess will if yhe will go back in the lab and go back to that sound when he was hungry..real talk, stop hating 'cause the guy has done some pretty amazing work
Ray J major? LOL ray j can't really sing name a hit he put out excpet for the last song he had on the radio "1 wish" and he craped all over that song. Good lyrics just sorry singer. I cant get with this track, his vocal arrangement and chords sound too much like Amerie. Whatever happened between Rich and Amerie better had been worth it because to me, he f*cked up, now he is pushing artist geared with the same sound. Getting a lil redudant.

What's good World? Anyways I say we get grown and give respect when its due, now this song may not be as on point as Rich's other creations but with some stripping and refining I think that he could get a quick mainstream hit out of it. Hopefully Young Steff can dance.
Rich is talented, his beats are almost eclectic, a little stuck on percussion and very go-go tainted ( not saying that go-go is lame, I just don't do it on tha reg)...this song is stuck between too many sound effects, go-go, and do I smell techno influence? I'm feeling like Amerie on this would have gracefully calmed or smoothed it out. That is All..

The Young Steff song is hot. Rich shows his dexterity. Its obvious he can make hits....
What you fail to realize is that Amerie is Rich's sound. If you ever heard Steff, this is his octave. He is a young artist. Every hit producer has a sound that you can recognize....Timabaland, Dre, Scott Storch, etc.... His sound is highly influenced by percussions. DC was raised on percussion and to shy away from that would be foolish. That's like eating pancakes without syrup. You can do it but, doesn't taste as good. This is an old Go Go record turned into a R & B song. Stop fishing.... you either like it or you don't. This isn't his first single. It was a leak just to start getting his name out there. For the girl who said that he is mad that Amerie didn't date. That is far from the truth. Mixing pleasure with business if for fools. They aren't working together because she feels that she can be successful without him. Instead of her respecting that every hit single she has ever had came from Rich, she wants to prove a point that she can do it without him. So far, she is wrong! That's the truth on the matter!
