Aiight y'all, Beyonce just released two new videos. The first on TRL, "Beautiful Liar," featuring Shakira. And the second on BET, "Upgrade U," featuring Jay Z.

Soulman says.... Shakira is bad girl. The way her body moves is incredible. Definitely bukkake material. Throughout the whole video I kept looking for her in the shots.
The one dance scene where they are cut in and out of each other's places in the scene is crazy. My favorite part. Shakira's sex appeal shows even all in the way she looks up at the camera while twerkin' it out. Beyonce let's Sasha get a little life in the scene. That's really what the Soulman likes in Bey.
As for Bey overal... ehhh, she's pretty and we knew that. But paired up with an equally talented co star that matches your 10 Grammys head to head I say... this time baby you didn't do it for me. As fly as you are, I was bored.
And then there is "Upgrade U."
Wow... you're a pretty girl. I could eat you like cake. But then what?
What I don't get about Beyonce and all this bragging of shooting 8 videos in two weeks is that she is kinda saying, I can sell y'all muthafuckas anything.
And the thing is the video isn't bad, not at all. It's just not worth the hoopla of a re- released super gold deluxe edition video anthology first of it's kind thingiemajiga.
You didn't take the time to really turn out a video that is owed to such a dope ass track.
As for Jigga... well, he do what he do. On point. His delivery and appearance is what was looked forward to.
Overall I am tired of aims to constantly break a record at the cost of original, unique, quality work. Especially for a chick with the talent and budgets to move mountains.
On "106 & Park" Beyonce announced that she was leaving the next day for vacation. I say buy a one way ticket and let your only pass back be that dope ass exterior, your crazy vocal and a Birkin filled with some originality.

Beautiful Liar is nothing more than an over-rated 3-minute Pepsi Commercial. It offers nothing by way of concept (Looking alike in certain scenes and mirroring one another is not a concept.) But she gave the MTV white audience just what they want to see. Two pretty light-skinned women of color, hardly dressed with phat asses gyrating their hips.
Upgrade U was whack! The track is bangin' and this is all you came up with? And I am tired of getting flashblacks (not a typo) when watching Bey. Artist that came to mind while watching this video...JLO, Vanessa Williams, JLO, Ciara (Like a Boy) and did I say..JLO?
If pretty is going to be Bey's strongest talent...then I'm ready for Ugly Betty to start making videos.

I loved tha Upgrade U video! I don't really like tha song Beautiful Liar. Tha beat is a little off, and Shakira's voice is.....wrong. Otherwise the video was cute, how you couldn't tell who was who at one point.....

Shakira is my girl "La Tortura" is my favorite song by her and in comparison 2 Bey, she's one of the ones (Jennifer Hud included) that can hold their own on a shared stage with her.

Some of you need to face it. Just because someone doesn't like Beyonce's latest work doesn't mean they haven't like her previous stuff. It also doesn't mean that they are hating on her. I don't even like everything my favorite artist have put out. I am just tired of all the "sistah, gurl" music. Nothing she releases is thought provoking or inspiring. The only thing inspiring to me is her drive, her work ethic and her ability to stay sane inspite of her success.
I'm not feeling the song or video with Shakira, but do admit is good eye candy for the fellas. I'm really lovin Bey's swagger in Upgrade. She was really cool as Jay-Z, But again I'm not crazy about the song.
I think Bey is headed for media burnout like J-Lo. She needs to fall back for a minute and allow us to miss her a little bit.

Those videos arne't any wose then most of the R&b videos out today. Dance a little, do some beauty shots and there you go! I think by todays standards the video was hot. I would have like more from Upgrade U but it is what is. I will buy the anthology because the green light video looks hto and actually looks creative.

ain't nobody out there today creating no unique videos, the days of Michael Jackson and Janet, Prince videos are gone, and Janets So Exicited video was the last video I saw that was different with that whole see through thing it had going on. Bey is a mega star she shouldn't be putting videos out like this, it's time for a long over due break period.

I didn't lie Upgrade u, B looks tight, but what really caught my eye was Beautiful Liar, both beautiful and talented. When i saw th video...i was confuzed because I didn't know what was going on, because there was so many flashing and changing in Beautiful Liar. But after watching it again, i think tha shakira adds a rather more lively and latin feel to the song (and thats how its supposed to feel)..i heard the song with just Beyonce, and it was sooooo boring!...i think that Shakira helped the song out, and also in the video she was lookin HOT!..

I bought the destinys child DVD live from Atlanta and its awesome and that is what beyonce is..she belongs in a group...Shakira on the other hand is a sexpot, period! you cannot move like her, no one can...this was a mere reminder that Beyonce is a package put together by her father for our entertainment and it is getting a little old.

Beyonce is on overdrive. I like the the videos. I wasn't really feeling 'Beautiful Liar' but this video changes it for me. 'Upgrade U' is my jam has been since B Day came out but that video is a mix of Kelis, Gwen, and most definitely Amerie's '1 Thing'.

I like the video beautiful liar. Shakira and Beyonce are both great singers and beautiful strong woman. But when it comes to the belly dancing and the hip shaking Shakira got that, hands down. But B looked good in the video, she did her thang. And upgrade u was ok. The song was hot but the video was to "regular" it did not catch my interest at all. But no matter what the girl got talent, there's no denying that. She's just going through a ruff patch where she has been upstaged with the last 2 women that she appear with, (jennifer, shakira) no biggy. Just a bump in the road. Maybe a vacation is what she needs. We need some time to miss her, although she did leave us with 6 more videos to go so it will be a while until we can miss her....
