I agree with Randy. I'm not sure if we can say that everyone that dances is emulating Janet. Ciara is just like Aaliyah was at her age. Aaliyah didn't start coming out of her tom boy stage until shortly before her death. Ciara dresses like her, dances like her and often wears her hair similar to Aaliyah's, except in a lighter color, but now even that is like Aaliyah.

I dont think Ciara is trying to be Janet. Similarities can be taken from any performer to the next. Im sayin, Tina Landon still gotta work. If she never choreographed Janet, would that still be such a big deal? If it was Fatima in the video instead, would we be hearing more Aaliyah comparisons? I mean Janet and Aaliyah are known for certain things, but they dont have the market cornered. The entertainment world doesnt end with either of them. They arrested an honor student because he was wearing similar clothing to the actual perpertrators. After a public outcry, he was released. I want to wait until I know more. Believe me its not a race thing (at least as far as the justification). I have had more bad run in with black and latino cops than white ones. Once you become a cop, race is thrown out the window because you are now "one of them".

It's all blue at that point. It's just like my Navy days. We were all blue no matter our background or racial makeup. I've been treated worse by Black and Latino cops on every level of my life. I don't have any felonies, mostly traffic related incidents, but the White cops were much more easygoing than the black and latin cops. I think it's only because the black cops feel the need to produce and be better than the white cops. From what I understand from my police officer friends, blacks don't advance as easy as the whites in the police department.

Man you don't have to hold out for details because there are none that will sway what really happened. It happened early Sat. moring and here we are Monday with no details. They are trying to come up with a story. They even gone as far as to detail all 3 of these dudes past arrest records just so the public doesn't think that they were "angels". One of my best friends is a a cop and she basically said that the cops don't have any excuse. Between the barrage of bullets, the horrible exucution of protocol, and witness accounts.... they are done. Everybody seems to have the same issue, we can understand a couple of shots if fear or a mistake was made but 31 shots by one officer !!! The dude let off the 16 and then reloaded and let off another 15 !!! All without any return fire. 2 days later and its too late to perform any breathalyzer because it was rumored that alcohol could have played a part since these were "vice cops" and vice cops are allowed to drink while on the job to "blend in" while they are undercover.
