Says Teddy:
The music that I listen to, I listen to adult contemporary stations that play '70s and '80s music. But when I do listen to radio to I try to see what's different. There was a young man several years ago that I thought had a really great R&B voice. Jaheim. He had a really, really nice smooth, but forceful when he needed to be, voice. I thought his voice was great. I don't know what became of the gentleman, but I loved his voice. Anthony Hamilton, I like his sound. I like his voice quality.

Today I am shopping for some new ringtones. I've been using this one particular Biggie mp3 as a ringtone for a while and it's getting stale. I went over to PepsiSmash.com to check out the ringtones they are paying celebs like Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige big money to create.
But they are playing games. You've got to buy a Pepsi, then punch in the code to see if you win. That shit is ridiculous. But anyways I need like four new ringtones. This past Sunday this girl's phone goes off in church. Her ringtone was Cam'ron's "Suck it Or Not." She was about 15. Her mom was hella embarassed. Don't you love hearing peoples ringtones in like the barbershop, waiting on line at Popeye's but hate when they go off in an elevator or in the cubicle next to you at work? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE 'R&B' RINGTONE?

She is a horrible live singer. Her voice is not strong enough. No wonder it took her so long to get a record deal.
I don't think she's a bad singer at all. I'm not making up any excuses like a dumbass fan would, but people who have sung in front of an audience who've had nerves and their voice changed because of nerves, know that it was nerves with LeToya. I agree, that performance was horrible, but she does have a nice voice. She has potential but it's not coming out. The thing about LeToya is that people expect more from her because she was kicked out of DC and Beyonce and them are very succeddful now.
A lot of people feel sorry for her and that's why so many people support her. I hate to say that but it's true. I want LeToya to succeed and I like her personality but she needs to step her game up in her stage presense, voice, and even performing at bigger shows.
I don't think she has a terrible voice, but I think she would benefit from some voice lessons. She doesn't seem to know how to control her instrument. It's not a whisper like Janet/Aaliyah/J-Lo/Ciara. It's actually got some power, clearly she doesn't have a clue what to do with it. Here stage presence could use some work. I'd call it nerves, but she is a veteran. If she plans to tour she has to take some lessons and while she doesn't need to dance much she has to learn to do something other than fidget. It doesn't seem like she's feeling it.
