I actually liked So Amazing, Christina has that kinda Jersey old school feeling on a few of her tracks that none of these other young kittens could ever capture. At least, Christina has a hit-making shoulder to cry on...
Meanwhile Rihanna's "Unfaithful" ass has been accumulating over 15 million views of her video "SOS" on AOL, logging over 600,000 downloads of "SOS" on iTunes, sold over 400,000 ringtones and "Unfaithful" was #1 on TRL last week.
If you really want to see what a girl like Rihanna is all about, she is doing a free concert in Rockefeller Center (how appropriate) as a part of the Today Show summer concert series on July 21st. That is the same day Mary J. Blige performs at Madison Square Garden.

She is actually not on Def Jam, she is on Island Def Jam like Mariah. So she is directly handled by LA Reid, and I get the feeling he never liked her. She said for her second album, even though she had the hit single "Dip it Low" that LA Reid did not push for her project b/c he wasn't there for the recording of the album; it was handled by his predecessors. So she was set up by LA Reid to fail, so he could get rid of her. I don't think any of this has anything to do with Jay-z.

Christina: I thought it was good, considering the backing that I had behind it. With that second album LA Reid wasn't particularly excited because he didn't make that album. It was made by the previous Def Jam execs - Lyor Cohen and them. So it wasn't particularly LA's style. Even with "Dip It Low," I don't think he was excited about that one, but fortunately for me the song blew up for itself! So he had to kind of go with flow. We put out another single but his whole concern was really this album that I have now. Every time I would see him, all he would say is, "I can't wait to work on the next album."

I'm not really surprised but there was that feeling when I read the caption...did they really drop her? They should've done that shit when she came out with that wackass CD It's About Time. The real reason why Christina Milian doesn't sell records is because she's annoying. Everyone knows she's only in the game because of her look. She's only good for eye-candy.
