While at India.Arie's album release party last night, I tried to confirm the rumor I heard about Christina Milian signing with Motown. I searched high and low for a confirmation or a denial.
All I was told was, "I don't know for sure." Since we weren't given the screwface or since no one spit out their celebratory champagne in our faces, we assume that she has signed or is very close to being signed to Motown Universal. That's a good look for Sylvia Rhone considering all the money they've wasted on Yummy Bingham.
SOHH... the plot thickens with Khia and Janet Jackson Jermaine Dupri. Last Friday, we brought you a statement by Jermaine in reference to Khia's appearance on Janet's second single, "So Excited." He confirmed that the dirty south rapper would appear on the track.
But... Mr. Dupri tells EURWEB:
Khia’s on the record because I’m a producer and I heard a sound that I wanted. She don’t actually rap on the record, I’m giving you the exclusive. It’s something that I did with her voice. I mean, a lot or people who hear it, they might not even realize that it’s her... I use textures when I do records and I just wanted her voice texture on this record, and she really made this song. Now she’s been complaining saying she’s been taken off the record, I don’t know where that came from. She’s really foolish to be out here talking [like this]. I’m still gonna keep her on the song because she ain’t know what she was doing.
That's a mess. A fucking mess. I can't help but think that despite whether I deserve it or not, whether I knew what I was doing or not, I'd want to actually here my lyrics, my actual voice on the single. Think about it. Khia probably told all her good girlfriends down at the liquor store that she was gonna be doing a track with Janet. And now once the song comes out they are gonna talk about her behind her back. She will be the laughing stock down at the check cashing when she goes to cash her royalty check.

She is not obligated to use Scott Storch just b/c she may have used him in the past.

They make a whole LOT of songs, and then make the decision as to which ones actually make the ALBUM, from those cuts.
Why the hell ya'll think that Tupac is still putting out albums?? So the problem as I see it is that if CJ in HOUSTON can understand that, Khia certainly should! (and again, I ain't even IN the business)
