The only thing is, Keyshia's voice is so much stronger than Monica's, so I hope she doesn't outsing her on her own album. Monica's voice is beautiful, but it isn't very strong. I just hope Keyshia doesn't do that one run she does in her song "Love". That mess is like nails on a chalkboard.

Monica has a new album coming out, and my girl Brandy is working with The Neptunes on her new album. I just wish Aaliyah was still around too. Rest in peace Baby Girl, we miss you.

I'm sry but I have to disagree with youAllStar just a little bit on that whole Keyshia singing better than Monica. Monice has a beautiful voice and I really don't care for Keyshia's, it weak to me. But what is up with this song? It does sound like a female version to Grllz, it sounds like something my gurl LeToya Luckett tried on her mixtapes. This song has got 2 go! Why is she following the whole gangsta southern/crunk sound. It does sound unoriginal and it isn't even a club banger. She isn't even using her vocals and the lyrics are just plain dumb. Monica, what the hell is going on with you? Her last two hits were on fiyah but this song is trash!

Dont sleep, Mariah still blows live, but I think she is uncomfortable in all-ethnic arenas (like the BET awards). She always use to talk about her problem feeling accepted (which I think is part of the reason she came so hard-core R&B this time around after like 47 albums for Becky n'em). We hold her to a higher standard when she's doing our music so I think she feels the pressure when she's performing for us and then be on that Mary cant-quite-find-the-note shit.

Keyshia and Monica might be hot. I like both of them but Keyshia just might make Monica sound like a background singer on her own shit. I agree with you Slit Knux, Brandy has Monica beat. Brandy's voice is way more powerful than Monica's. Just listen to "I Thought" off of her Full Moon album. Monica could never make her voice hit it like that.

Monica has a beautiful singing voice, but I have never heard her get on a song and just rip it up. She really has a nice voice, but there is just no strength in it. Check out this video of her showing her skills though.

husky...but both of them can sing good in my opinion compared to some of these new R&B chicks that have been comin out...Monica, Brandy & Aaliyah (RIP) had record deals at the age of 13 and 14 and have been very successful...and Monica's last album actually did WAY BETTER than Brandy's last album...so u must mean Kanye couldn't even make Brandy's stuff hot...cuz after "Talk About Our Love" i don't know what happened...

Uh, no Mimi, you're wrong. To date, both albums have only gone gold. That's a disappointment to both, because they are used to selling much more. I will say, Afrodisiac (Brandy) was waaaay better than After the Storm (Monica).

Also, when it comes to total album sales from all their albums, Brandy has sold waaaaaay more than Monica. It doesn't matter anyway, they both have more money than all of us LOL.

Monica's voice beats Brandy's. Brandy can sing, but I don't care for her voice. Brandy sounds like she takes too many breaths at a time while singing. Monica's voice is soft and lovely. It's very soulful and R&B. Monica is real cool and she knows who she is, but in this song, it seems like she's trying something new or from her roots and it's not working. This song covers her vocals horribly.

Brandy is AMAZING and underrated. There is just someting about that girls voice that is Angelic. Monica's name shouldn't even be in the same sentence as hers when it comes to mass appeal, creativity and adaptation in music. They are on two different levels if you ask me. I still like Mo though. The problem that I have with Monica is that she does not have her own sound. She takes on the sound of the producer of whatever song she is singing, instead of adding something extra to it. The girl can blow, but I don't care for all of her music. I love Brandy's voice and she has her own distinctive sound. When you hear a Brandy song you automatically know that it is Brandy. This is something that she has over many other contemporary female R&B singers. I don't care for Keyshia Cole that much either. At first I thought she could really sing but as I listened to her more and more I realized that she has little to no vocal control and she yells alot. Some folks just don't know any better. I've stated before that Beyonce can sing but her voice just annoys the hell out of me sometimes. She oversings all of the time.

Monica is a great singer, and I hope her album does well. The song can not be the first single though, because the "SNAP" music is getting old quick. That is what this song reminds me of. Monica needs to stick to what she know. Now out of Monica and Brandy, Brandy will always out shine Monica, no matter who has the best voice, both girls can sing. But to point out, Monica's last album had three releases and Brandy's only had two. Brandy is creative and knows how to use her voice, her father trained her well.

Monica's voice is nice as well but very typical for an ordinary church singer, that's why the media always points out how Brandy has a distinctive sound, She has alot more control and stability then Monica does.

In my personal opinion they both sounds good but Brandy has the more Unique, marketable and diversed vocals... and her lyrics are always on point, Monica needs to managment and producers.
