Some celebs do a stint in Vegas and they build a one of a kind multi million dollar stadium for you like Celine Dion and other times celebs headline a show and it feels like they've been put out to pasture like Toni Braxton.
I love Toni Braxton, so I am a bit annoyed that she won't headed from city to city, touring, hosting 106 & Park, being on Leno. Rather she'll be performing 6 nights a week at Harrah's Entertainment's Flamingo. Braxton had this to say:
"There is nothing like the thrill of performing nightly to a live audience with fans that have supported me throughout my career," Braxton says in a statement. "I'm looking forward to developing the show for the Flamingo, settling into Las Vegas with my family and bringing 'Revealed' to a whole new crowd."
Tickets for the show are priced at $65, $75 and $100 and go on sale May 19 via the Flamingo box office at 800-221-7299.

So we know that Kelly Rowland's album was pushed back to July 2007. Matthew Knowles told Billboard.com, "We want to make sure our marketing strategy is a multi-tiered approach that capitalizes on the synergies afforded by her other projects." On the heels of that announcement are rumors that Beyonce is ready to record/release new music. Rumor has it that she is filming two videos for singles tentatively titled "de ja vu" and "Ring The Alarm" in mid June (6/17-6/21). Both videos are allegedly to be directed by Sophie Muller. Muller also directed Gwen Stefani's "Luxurious" and Pink's "Family Portrait". Was poor Kells pushed back to make way for Beyonce? Or was the album really just booty? Not to be confused with bootylicious.

Beyonce's album was always scheduled for a September release. I heard that Kelly's album wasn't that good. And Matthew delayed Dangerously in Love almost a full year, so that Simply Deep could ride the success of the single and grammy with Nelly.
Gladys Knight did the Flamingo for years and made nice chaching!! It's good for Toni to still be working period. She has a family so the stability will be nice, also people will go see her, I will in Sept when I am in Vegas. She is a great artist and I am happy she is still grinding, plus she is gorgeous as ever. Um Kelly betta bring it, Letoya is good so far, and I look forward to Jayonce's new record to gauge her artistic growth, if she is still singing "Crazy In Love" type ish I will be pissed. Toni is getting her hustle on, so I'm not mad at her. Make that money girl. I do prefer her with the short hair though. She is MUCH prettier with short hair, as is Halle Berry.

Of course Kelly cleared the way for Beyonce, yet again. I can tell you one thing, if Kelly had a different manager, the release date being pushed back wouldn't have happened. Toni is doing the vegas gig because she still is not 100% comfortable with leaving her family and making a full return to the industry, she says she is taking baby steps, and will re-emerge with a full comeback.
Toni has won 6 grammys, which is more than enough so she deserves her merit, so lets not compare and say this one is better than that one.
She still plans on releasing new music, as of now she is also gearing up for one of her biggest performances ever, she and IL Divo will open and close up with their song "The Time of our Lives" for the Fifa World Cup Series in Germany, which is viewed by over a billion viewers across the world. The song which was recorded earlier this year, has had a video issued to it which has been shot with both artists appearing in the video. So Toni is doing big things!
