Mariah Carey debuts her new commercial for Pepsi today to mark her big agreement of penning the majority of their new ringtones, and them sponsoring her tour.
Mariah reportedly feels like she can do things with these ringtones that she wouldn't normally do on her albums. The first ringtone available is called "Time of Your Life". The commercial itself is happy, campy, powder pink faced Mariah just as we love her. I am feeling this ring tone because it's all vocals. You ever be on the street and someone's phone rings and the speaker on the phone can't handle all the bass in the ringtone so it sounds like shit? The one's that sound the best are the ones with lots of vocals.

Fans have been waiting on some news about the new Redman album. Well, it has just been confirmed that the new Redman album will be released in the 3rd quarter of 2006. The untitled album will be released under Def Jam. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter will executive produce the album.
Details about the album have been kept under tight raps, but Redman said "that there was no doubt in his mind this album will put him back in the top 5 list of current rappers."
Erick Sermon produced three songs. The untitled album also features production by Rockwilder, Mannie Fresh, Cool and Dre, and Scott Storch. The album also features guest appearences from Ne-Yo, Ghostface Killah, Cappodonna, Young Jeezy, and Rick Ross.
The first single is scheduled to hit the airwaves late June. The lead single, Snap and Rap, features Lil John and Fabo of D4L.
