There have been some noticeable changes in Ciara lately. Remember when she was the princess of Crunk & B and now all of a sudden she is a pop princess! WTF?
If you haven't heard, Ciara's new movie "All You've Got" skipped mainstream theaters and went straight to DVD and is schedule to hit shelves May 23. This flick is a good look for Ciara. It follows the same theme as "Bring It On", the teen cult classic from a few years back.
About the flick:
The film tells the story of upper-class high school volleyball players who, after a fire scorches their campus, are forced to relocate to their rivals' school in the barrio.
You can't be mad at Ciara for making a dollar out of fifteen cents.

Blige who light's up the remix to "New York Shit" Bussa Bus loves the R&B ladies. This go round he reunites with Kelis for "I Love My Bitch" from his forthcoming cd, "The Big Bang", which better be released soon or it will have been a full year of hype. I dont know if Crunk has necessarily run its course, but I think she had to make a move because when you're placed in a "box" it limits your growth. She needed to be able to expand her audience and be accepted when she ventured into something different and it woulda been a lot harder to do if she didnt start to show herself capable of something other than what she started to become known for. (Kinda like how people get all huffy when a rapper wants to try acting)... Especially with her being so young, she had to strike while the iron was still hot.
But I personally love the more ladylike presence. And I actually think she has a pretty voice, there is just no strength in it.

I luv me some Ciara! I didn't like her before, only because I thought she was another fake ass R&B/hip-hop singer who wasn't really talented. But, I still liked her songs. I like how she has tranformed herself into a classy young lady this year. The makeup is less and natural and it shows how pretty she is. The glamorous dresses are very ladylike, but still her (the new Ciara.) I can't get enough of her song "So What." I know that it's really Field Mobb's song and she's featured on it, but the beat and her verses make it seem like it's more of her song. I don't think Ciara can SANG, but she has a beautiful tone to her voice that goes with her dance beatz and soft ballots. She's truly an entertainer and whoeva said she will flop is just hoping she will, because everything she comes out with blows up!
