All the world seems to be buzzing from either the news of the new Branjelina bundle or Beyonce's upcoming album.
For her birthday, Beyonce will be releasing the appropriately titled B'Day, her sophomore set. As we mentioned last week, the first single is titled "Dejavu" and features her boo Jay-Z in chancletas. So far the second single is "Ring The Alarm." Beyonce plans to release her CD on Sept 4th worldwide... just 22 days before Janet releases her celebratory 20 Years Old.
Remember back in the day when Janet would release an album and everyone would just fall back for weeks at a time? These young batch of kittens are getting unruly! And if an album wasn't enough, Beyonce plans to force feed you with a new junior division of her House of Dereon clothing line for which sister Solange will be the face of. Then there is the upcoming Dreamgirls soundtrack for which she is FEATURED! I'm tired already just from typing that shit.
So, Leela James is on tour. Her live show is like going to an old school baptist church revival... and thats a good thing! She performed last night at Irving Plaza here in New York City. This dude named Govenor opened for her. He is like a down south Lyfe Jennings or if T.I.. sang R&B he would be like this dude. He is signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle label. I hate Haters. J-Lo is no comparison to Beyonce because Beyonce is multi-talented, and she will be around way longer than most. Give her- her accolades. She is indeed a triple threat. J-Lo used her body, and looks to get in the business. She had to because she can't sing worth a damn. But Beyonce is like a breathe of fresh air. I love Leela James as well. She is very soulful, and a beautiful young lady.

It really is irrelevant that they are releasing their albums at the same time. If they are both hot, they will both sell well. And that overexposure talk, is bullshit. If Beyonce's album is good, you are really not going to buy it, b/c she has been around for 10 years, and keeps churning out CDs, etc. I mean if it is hot, people will buy it. J. Lo made some really bad albums and a really bad movie. And the tabloid exposure I really think was irrelevant.
As for the Oscar talk, it is way too early, the movie isn't made. And I think Beyonce is just hoping, they don't criticize her acting in this movie and that she doesn't spoil it.
