We are getting closer and closer to July 11th, the release date of Kelly Rowland's My Story... Kelly Rowland.

Today Rhianna releases her second solo cd today titled A Girl Like Me just eight months after her debut cd Music of the Sun. She is a member of that fresh batch of kittens that also include Christina Milian who have come for the job.

It's no secret the SOHH Soul Man is in love with Mariah Carey, or should I say Mariah Carey's music. Even back in the days when she was doing straight up pop and adult contemporary type compositions like "Music Box", "Can't Let Go" and "I Don't Want To Cry". Carey says while Dupri hasn't approached her with the idea, she'd consider doing it. "I love Janet," Carey told MTV Radio. "I've been a big fan of Janet's since 'Control.' So if Jermaine has a concept, we should go and write something."

DAMN... thats longer than Deborah Cox's "Nobody's Suppose to Be Here" and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together". So what's next for Mary you ask. Well...

Kelly Rowland previewed her new album, tentatively titled My Story... Kelly Rowland here in NYC yesterday. At first listen I still say, Kelly Rowland ain't worth the bullet... or the time it takes to load the gun.

R&B takes a back seat on the charts this week as T.I. and Ghostface land the #1 and #2 spots on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Charts. But counting only R&B....
