The Seatfiller is a flick about a popstar (Kelly) who falls for a seatfiller (Duane) who is actually posing as an attorney at an award show. Sounds decent enough. It was written by Duane Martin himself. (Don't you just love the enterprising blacks?) After a limited run the movie went straight to DVD and is on sale now!

It seems Deborah Cox is back on the scene very similarly as Kelly. She too is starring in a straight to video flick directed by RZA and also starring Bokeem Woodbine called Blood of a Champion. Deborah plays the dedicated wife of Bokeem who has been locked up for 10 years. After his release Woodbine's chararacter gets one last chance at professional boxing. Hmmmm.

i heard about this movie awhile ago too. and there was mention of a buzz behind her performance.truth is a movie like that wouldn't go over well in theatres. i know i would have gone to see it.the plot seems simple but those r the movies that has a lot more goin on in them.so i think kelly will probably do pretty damn good in hollywood

I know, she had a very small tiny part in the movie. In all of her past 2-3 movies, she hasn't "REALLY" co-starred, she's just been in them. She's a candy eye actress. She promotes the movies because she is a big time pop star. That's the only reason why people saw the movie. "IN MY OPINION" She can't act at all, you can tell she's acting. However as mixed or mulatto as they are, or how much they try to play it up theyre still black. Well Kelly is coming out with a new album and it involves Beyonce singing all her songs. Kelly is only in the background. I guess that is supposed to give her more sales, but in actuallity the money will go to Beyonce. And on top of that theya are realeasing two different remixes to the album, one for Kelly, which will be all her vocals and the other for Beyonce which will include all her vocals and some new songs for her next album. As far as Kelly Rowland is concerned...I actually love the song "Flashback." It has an easy-going tone, the message is real, & the production is very modern. However, I would not advise her to make it the first single...b/c its not a marketable mainstream hit. Nonetheless, its still a great song & I wish much success to her continued solo efforts.
Now...this color complex is an example of how fickle-minded we can be as a people. Beauty is not defined by one set of guidelines. It transcends many different boundaries and remains undefined. Obviously, Beyonce' has the more "marketable" image. Although it just ain't right how America's standard for beauty is depicted, her image is what sells to broad audiences across the country and world & she can't help that she was born with the look.
