Or maybe he thought Mario really didn't do "Let Me Love You" that much justice. I honestly believe it’s that I have something to say. And no one is going to be able to say it the way that I do. I don’t feel that anyone else can deliver the messages in these songs the way that I can.

Yes. It was real interesting to say the least. And the person was real mouthy and had an attitude and real stank about every. I was thinking "you ain't gonna sing this song as good as me anyway." But you have to remain professional. I’m not the dude that’s gonna bark at someone in the studio. You’re singing MY song.

People aren’t doing music for the love of it anymore. A lot of people do this because there is money to be made and fast. That tends to be the motivating factor. They think people aren’t gonna feel a Diana Ross because she is older and no one is gonna buy her music.
Ne-Yo has already proven himself as a talented songwriter, we'll have to sit back, watch and see if he can make hits for himself as big as he did for Mario.

I am glad that there is a break through for new R&B soul acts. It seems that there are a number of ghost writes for famous r&b artists- I see nothing wrong with that as long as the Singer gives credit to the writer of the lyrics. Not every great writer can sing and cn present a pretty picture. Look at Floetry these girls look alright-(if you like thick sistas) but have written some block buster hits-aka buterflys for that weirdo micheal Jackson. There are other writers and performers out there that can write but cannot sing.

Most entertainers who DANCE as well as sing on stage use back-up tracks to help give you a good performance. Otherwise, you would hear a lot of airy, out of breath singing and other shit from them trying to DANCE and SING.
Without the back up track, youll get way too many gaps in the words of the song, which makes everybody in the audience say, "Where are the words, I thought I came to hear something"
