This mag came out in 2000 or 2001, right around the time that "Say My Name" and "Independent Woman" came out b/c they had just dumped of Farrah by the time "Independent Woman" came out. In the mag, LaToya, Latavia and Farrah were quoted directly and they told Vibe that Matthew and B's mom would make everyone but Beyonce go tanning? Why is that? So Beyonce could be the light bright one that stands out.

People shorten and change their names all the time, In the music business, and in Hollywood, Jamie Foxx was not born with that name, but he wanted something to the point that stood out, no harm no foul. Beyonce had as bout as much power to change these girls names as the man in the moon had. And I really don't buy this "LEAD SINGER" argument, it really defeats the purpose of the word group. I downloaded the mixtape last week and it's hot.Letoya was always the best looking to me back when she was in the group and I'm happy to see that she's been grinding and has something to show for it. Why do people think that Beyonce is such a beautiful name? When you really look at it..just look at it and say it to yourself a few times in a row....it's a ghetto-ass made up name just like Tenetria and Kellendria. I agree with JRJ to a degree, but initially that's how it all began, as a group, some little girls messing around tryna become a singing group, while there is always one person who may stand out more vocally, I disagree with one person always having the leading role, it causes to much friction, and as far as Matthews and Tina they are the two parents who made the most sacrifices to helping them to get where they are, so hey. If you look at TLC for example all those girls individually brought a different vibe to the group which made them stand out although I feel that Lisa and Chilli could have been used a bit more for leads. Someone said Beyonce was the better dancer in the group, not true I saw a vid clip of her and Letoya when they were younger and unlike Letoya, Beyonce didn't have much rhythm. I haven't heard Letoya's vocals outside the group, but I hope she does well.

I just heard that song by Letoya n it's hot! Whoeva said that it's better than beyonce's "Check On It" was right! Obviously both Beyonce and LaToya have moved on and has made the best of the situations that came and went. So neither of them should be compared or dissed. They all are doing something constructive, rather than cat fighting with each other.

Same with Mary and Faith. They both have resolved their issues (even Mary said it wasn't Faith she had beef with). Both Mary and Faith have recently and most notably spke highly of each other.
