The only reason Ice T should be in the studio is to clean off the recording equipment and running errands for the real rappers in the studio.

The REAL reason why rap music isn't selling is because it's tryign to be pop music when they already got that covered over there. Rap became a huge money maker for labels during a time when there was no real pop music. Grunge was grunge and it had a little mainstream success, but there was no pop. Rap filled that void for a minute, but that void is being filled by pop music again.
