Late last week, G-Unit’s West Coast representative Spider Loc finally dropped the video for the remix of “Blutiful World” featuring Papa Smurf and Piper. There was a lot of drama (drive-by’s, chin-checking, etc.) that accompanied the shoot (for the section that was shot to go along with Smurf’s verse on the remix, and for the footage that goes along with Piper’s part), but in the end, I gotta give it up for Spider Loc- he came with a pretty dope video.

Check it out for yourself...

Although the song completely changes halfway through and kicks into remix mode, both versions of it are equally dope. The lyrics aren't really anything special, but his flow sounds decent over the beat. The only thing I thought was kinda janky about the video itself was the fact that it goes from being a legit video that looks like it actually saw post-production, to your typical low-budget, self-made hood video in about 3.5 seconds flat. Whatever’s whatever though, ‘cause all in all, the s**t came out pretty fresh.

Although Spider’s debut album was originally slated for a 2006 release, The West Kept Secret is now slated for release sometime in 2007. His mixtape with DJ Felli Fell, Connected is currently available.
