Just a heads up: Stones Throw is offering free downloads of Chrome Children Vol. 2 right now, and it’s definitely worth scooping up. It’s got new tracks from Madlib, M.E.D., Guilty Simpson, Aloe Blacc, Oh No, Percee P, and J Rocc; make sure you check out the Guilty Simpson track at the very least... this dude is heavy, and his track on here is fire. There are also some dope funk tracks from the Now-Again subsidiary of Stones Throw.
So we’re supposed to start posting events/shows/clubnights/etc. on Thursdays to let everyone know what’s going down in the city we’re blogging about. But since they’re having me write a blog about an entire coast, which could mean as many as 5-7 states at any given time, shit’s gonna be a little difficult. While I know that there is virtually nothing going down in Sacramento this week, I have absolutely no idea what’s going on in L.A., SF, San Diego, Arizona, Seattle, Portland, etc. So if anyone out there wants to post about something going on their city, feel free.
This is one of the few things I could find... Check it out if you’re in the area.
