All Star Break Is Over, And Nobody's Dead- Not Even Game Or Buck...

We got a couple of things to touch on today...
First off, the All Star break generated far fewer headlines than I predicted. While I would love to conclude that this means the hoards of hip hop artists who descended on the City of Sin for the weekend conducted themselves in a responsible and mature fashion, I highly doubt that’s the case.
A more realistic conclusion would be that: A) Dudes knew the porkchop patrol would be out in full muthafuckin’ effect this weekend, and therefore they kept a low profile, and B) getting your pockets ran through/ chain snatched/ etc. by local vegas grimys is an embarrassing situation, and one best kept out of the media dailies if possible. I’m pretty sure that dudes came crew-heavy and/or bodyguard-heavy to Vegas to avoid scenario B, but there’s a rumor circulating that at least one rapper did lose his chain this weekend.
The one big story that did seem to emerge from this weekend (besides the false rumor about E-40 being involved in a major car crash) was the reported near-scuffle between The Game and Young Buck at a T.I./Young Jeezy party. For those of you who haven’t already heard the story in one of it’s various forms, Young Buck got up on stage while Jeezy was up there and started making gestures at The Game and his crew, who were seated in the VIP area. Jayceon and company apparently started making their way down to the stage, but were stopped short by security, who apparently escorted Buck and Jeezy outside while restraining Game and his squad. Both artists apparently went the rest of the weekend without incident, but the craziest part of the whole situation is that Game was reportedly looking to diffuse the situation rather than aggravate it. If that’s true, I gotta say I’m proud dude is finally trying to take the high road. But first I’m gonna have to wait another week to see if any new G-Unot diss tracks pop addressing the subject. And for being one of the few people Game has actually given dap to in the last year, this certainly puts Jeezy in an uncomfortable situation.
All in all though, I’m glad to hear everybody made it out of Vegas alive. Who would've guessed that two rappers who hold such a well-publicized grudge against one another (and who both have a penchant for tempermental violent outbreaks in clubs) could be in the same room without taking things to fisticuffs or worse? I guess it just goes to show ya... that's entertainment...

Im glad you posted this blog this is what really happened with game and buck cuz everybody got it fucked up Game was watching young buck and when they dropped the strip club single and game saw young buck dancing to it Game went down to probably shake hands with buck or whatever but security being security thought game was comming down to fight which is why they told him to leave and young buck started yelling at game b/c all buck could see was security alot of guys in white tees and game so buck thought they wanted to fight you see at the end game say i can diffuse the situation and he’s calm so aint neither of them punk each other

Unfortunately people did lose their lives this weekend. Not that that's really any different than any other weekend, but it is sad. As far as the rappers in Vegas thing, I heard one rapper did get robbed, some rapper/actor, I just don't know who. Vegas security was on high alert, cuz they don't get no shit like this EVER, they get fights, but the NBA all-star game?? Way huger. Also, Vegas is trying to get an NBA team, so they had to make sure nothing huge was covered by the media. I was waiting for my limo to come back and get me. I got tired of waiting and said fuck it I'll just walk, My hotel was only about a block away. G-Unit Affiliate 40 Glocc Involved In Gang Brawl In Vegas

Infamous/G-Unit recording artist, 40 Glocc, was involved in a brawl early Monday morning (February 19) outside the MGM Grand Casino.
According to the rapper's spokesperson, he and his entourage got into an altercation with group of rival gang members, resulting in an all-out brawl that spilled into the casino's parking lot.
Shots were reportedly exchanged, and one man was left with a gunshot to the hip. He declined to press charges, and police are not following up on the incident, Las Vegas police spokesman, Jose Montoya, said.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, several incidents resulted in four people being shot, including three who were critically injured, during an hour stretch that occurred between 4 and 5 a.m. at two locales, Montoya said.
Police chose to put their focus on an unrelated incident, which occurred outside the Minxx strip club on Wynn Road near Tropicana Avenue.
The Review-Journal reports that three people were shot after several patrons of the club were escorted outside for fighting. One of them opened fire, wounding two employees and a patron near the club's entrance, police said.
Although there is rumor that NFL cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones of the Tennessee Titans had been involved in the shooting, those reports have not been confirmed.
Las Vegas police say they arrested 362 people since the start of NBA festivities, and 209 of them were from out of town.
