First off, one last word on yesterday’s blog... I posted the blog about El-P’s new album because it was the best hip hop album I’ve heard in years, simple and plain. And in response to people whining about how something like that should be posted in the NY blog, part of the reason I decided to write about it was because I had a feeling that SOHH NY probably won’t write about it, and I thought that some of you might appreciate being exposed to something new... but that obviously wasn’t the case, as proven by this guy:

Thanks for dropping that knowledge bomb, big guy. Now if you get the chance to put down your issue of Murder Dog for a second, you should try reading one of the many blogs that I’ve written about members of Mob Figaz.
And now, on with the show...
On Wednesday, Snoop Dogg plead not guilty to the first of his three pending court cases. If Snoop can talk his way out of one- just one -of these cases, he may still have enough time outside of jail to record a few more albums in his lifetime- which is what he what he should be doing right now, had he taken notes on how Husalah did it before his bid. (Hey bluntblazer, there it was... your Mob Figaz reference for the week!)
Evidence of Dilated Peoples will be dropping his album The Weatherman on March 20th, 2007. The album will feature production from Alchemist, Sid Roams, Jake One, Babu, and of course, Ev himself; no word yet on guest emcees on the album. Can’t wait to hear this one... it should be a banger.
In other release news, be on the lookout for a new Sick Wid It album from E-40’s cousin Turf Talk. The new album, titled The West Coast Vaccine, will hit the shelves on April 3rd.
And last but not least, some guy on here has been bugging me all week to talk about the new Ya Boy mixtape from DJ Skee and mixunit.com. Well guess what chief? Mixunit.com quit slangin’ mixtapes after after they got all shook from the whole RIAA/Drama/Cannon bootleg fiasco, so good fuckin' luck finding it.

Man, I hate to have to keep coming back in this joint talkin bad about some one who's (supposed to be) keeping us updated on the most recent stuff poppin off out West, but it really looks like you read the actual stories on allhiphop.com and sohh.com wait a day or two and then post them here. Are you really from the West Coast? Where do you live? Lancatser? Is that why you're so late? Cause if you lived in LA or the Bay the streets talk much faster than you do...
Like sometimes it seemes like you try, but this is the weakest blog for any reigion on this site...

Ahhhhh, I was hoping I was gonna get called out. I guess what I said actually made sense. Well, let me say this, I am feeling you on the fact that SOHH NY probably wouldn't have done a blog on EL-P. His blogs are pretty much common knowledge on the popular New York artists. I'll give you that. I got that Sean Price album on my Zune, it's pretty dope, I'll give you that. The thing is though, that's why there is a SOHH NY, for him to rep for NY, if he misreps his area, that's his fault. I check SOHH NY everytime after I check SOHH Left Coast, I occasionaly check SOHH Atlanta and SOHH Houston, to get a balance of shit from all regions.SOHH Houston said that mixtape messiah 2 was dope, so I dled it and it was. My point is, that's their fault for not repping their areas. If people want to hear about NY too, they check his blog, just like I do. If he reps it wrong, that's on him, but you trying to help rep the real in NY, takes away from repping the real out here. That's all I'm saying. That Ya Boy mixtape is on www.mixtapetorrents.com. If anybody says downloading mixtapes is wrong, there for promotional use only, so according to that, they're not supposed to be sold, they're supposed to be free. As for the peope that say dude gets his news from Allhiphop.com.....he probably does. I don't think these blogs are supposed to break news. There's supposed to bring you the news that's already out there, and state an opinion or whatever from the regional stand point. If you get your news from allhiphop.com before the blogs talk about it, no biggie, but when you get it from allhiphop.com, and then it seems like sohh's other sections copy it, that's different.
