R&B singer Amy Winehouse continues to face health concerns as she recently canceled a performance in France due to illness.
According to ABC News, the platinum-selling artist was scheduled to perform at a festival last Friday (August 30) but suddenly became sick at her London home hours prior to the event.
“Amy Winehouse was regrettably unable to perform at the Rock En Seine show in Paris due to illness,” her spokesman wrote in a statement.
Details have yet to surface as to where the sickness stemmed from. As previously reported by SOHH, the Grammy award-winning singer had been rushed into a London hospital for an allergic drug reaction in late July.
Promoters of the Paris festival may pursue legal action against Winehouse claiming they were only given two hours notice and lost large revenue in ticket sales.
