It looks like Ludacris is in hot water over his new "polticial" song he made for Barack Obama. Lawd!
In gearing up for the release of Luda's new album Theater of The Mind the Atlanta rapper has been dropping songs everyday. But its a new song that he made for Barack Obama that's landed the Presidential hopeful in some hot water with critics forcing him to denounce and separate himself from the Def Jam star.
In his new song titled "Politics: Obama is Here". Check it out here:
This line is what has polticio's fighting mad: "Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant." Not one to let anyone stir too long Barack and his camp quickly fired off a statement. And here's what they had to say:
"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."
No word yet from Luda on how he plans to fix this blunder. If he will at all.
Earlier this week I ran a rumor about Jacki-O. I was told that she was the one behind the Ricky Ross photos. Well it seems Mrs. 0 wasn't happy and wanted to clear up some things. Unfortunately I can't tell you what she said about Ricky just yet, but she did want me to clear up her interview she did with HipHopweekly magazine about how she had to spread her legs to collect her money from her record company. Here's what she had to say:
Jacki-O responding to your post on
Ya Heard about having sex for advance money
Obviously my interview was read and what was taken out of it was the negative and not what was intended. My intentions was to really to express the regret that I had for having to have sex and just the way that people are abused when they are under authority. When you in a situation when someone is telling you, 'Hey, this is your dream you can be this you can go off and do what you love to do which is write music and be an artist but you gotta have sex.' I'm from Liberty City, Pork 'N Bean projects I mean come on. I wasn't glorifying having to have sex with someone for 10 grand. I wasn't trying to glorify that I was trying to express the regret that I had and tell other women that you don't gotta do that. That was a wrong turn that I took.
I don't think it's a problem with the women it's a problem with people that abuse their authority. That's where I think the problem lies. Everyone has dreams and a lot of people will do whatever it takes to get to those dreams. I'm not a whore. I don't go around having sex to get to the top. I read something like that too on your blog about obviously Jacki-O has to sleep her way to the top. I'm very talented and my music speaks for itself I don't have to have sex to get to where I need to be at. The authority that I was under... I was being abused by the authority.
