He sure isn't. I remember Tip making predictions during our interview a few weeks back.
He was confident that T.I. VS TIP would either surpass King's 525k in the first week, or eclipse King's 1.7 units sold to date.

Last time I checked, Shop Boyz's "Party Like A Rock Star" sat in the top 5 of several Billboard singles charts, including Billboard Hot 100, Pop 100, Hot 100 Airplay and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs among others.
Still, as successful as the single is, I'm not sure they get stopped much at the mall. In fact, I'm pretty sure a lot of you couldn't pick the three Shop Boyz members out of the following photo.

Melyssa Ford and Ali Vegas
As I mentioned yesterday, we interviewed Melyssa Ford at Sirius Satellite Radio's New York offices earlier this week. (June 5).
The funny thing is, as me and Ali Vegas were heading upstairs, I remembered that I needed to ask her about T-Pain and randomly mentioned that I needed to interview DJ Khaled and ask him about his excessive use of the n-word.

A couple of weeks back, Yung Joc nominated himself for the "Down To Earth Rapper" award. Eeeeehhhh...sorry Joc, Paul Wall, Common and Bun B are more likely to be nominated. Interestingly, T.I. deserves consideration. As cocky as he is, the self-proclaimed "king of the south" is approachable and very genuine. I actually lost count on the amount of times I've met him, but he was cool on every occasion.

It must have been 1999 or something. My cousins and I were throwing the names of female emcees around and debating on their looks. Foxy? Opinions were split on Fox's appeal. Lil' Kim? Hell no! What about Eve? "Eve looks like Canibus," my cousin mocked. We all laughed at the absurdity and moved on.
