A Day At Def Jam...co-starring Playaz Circle....

Now I could be all fun and games by say some DTP jokes like 'It was all about a "Tity" and a "Dolla," but let's kick all of that stuff to the side...and get to the "real" point of this posting.....as I go about the day-to-day life of a hip-hop journalist, I wonder how can "I," Cyrus Langhorne, help you guys get a feel of this lifestyle without having to leave your desktops, laptops and mobile phones, oh my! Well, kids, here it is....a brief run-down of my Tuesday, September 22, 2009 interview with Playaz Circle....

As this quick snippet shows, there's a bit of "waiting" when it comes to getting your point-of-contact in front of your face....believe it or not, most interviews rarely start on time....eh, celebrities and executives gotta multi-task, I can dig it....SOHH, as you can see....the Def Jam office is pretty dope.....from having to nearly get stripped search before entering the main building located at 825 8th Avenue in good ol' Manhattan, New York City....to viewing the televisions on the way up to the 28th-29th floors...it makes you feel like you're living a line from Shyne's records....you know, the "doing blow at Trump Tower" lines he would spit....chea?

After meeting up with my contact (fill in the blank), I got in and.....yup, you guessed it...did a bit more waiting.....now while I was a bit early, (in music terms, "on time")....I did manage to re-form some of my questions for Playaz Circle.....SOHH instead of asking 'em what they thought about Lil Mama crashing Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Video Music Awards 2009 set, I tossed in the question about what they would do if Kanye tried to jack their trophy at next year's awards....(laugh).....come on, how could I resist, right? And when you think about it, they're technically labelmates.....SOHH no harm, no foul.....

As you'll see from the below clip, Tity Boi (on the right) had been getting the Yeezy questions tossed at him quite a bit as of late....

Okay, granted...this is really just a teaser SOHH On The Scene posting.....but flow with me guys, soon you should be fiending! (laugh)....
