Kanye West & Quincy Jones Drops By The Chill Spot. And I'll Be Damned! Kanye's NOT An A*shole[Video]!

When I [Gyant] was told that Chaka Zulu, Jamal Coleman, and Tai Boggie had secured the “it” boy of hip-hop – Mr. Kanye West – to roll through the Chill Spot I just knew that they were pulling my leg. With the Louis Vuitton Don already double booked practically at the same time at another venue I didn’t see any chance in hell of it happening. But I’ll be damned they pulled it off.
And they didn’t just stop at Kanye. They even managed to get a living legend to adorn the Atlanta hot spot with his presence. They got Quincy Jones to come out too.
Yes people The Chill Spot at the 300 Bowling Alley was taken to a whole new level of exclusiveness. What used to be an industry insider venue where everyone could come to unwind while getting their bowling on has quickly turned into the place that everybody wants to be because you never know who’s going to drop by.
The newly single MC - [what am I saying. this is Kanye West] - "rap phenomenon" with a tour of gold wasn’t anything like I had expected. I imagined a divo who was going to walk in and demand that everyone bow down and kiss his feet. But West was anything but the alter ego we’ve all seen at award shows or hear about on blogs. Kanye graciously greeted his fans with hand shakes for the fellas and hugs for the ladies. I had my camera on him a decent amount of time before he demanded that all cameras be turned off. While this isn’t the best video I’ve ever snagged sh*t for Kanye I’m sure you will all let it pass. Check it out.

Oh, and Kanye wasn’t the only star in town this weekend.
We had Oprah, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Pharrell, and Lupe Fiasco all in town.
Oprah was chillin at a private part at the Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station which of course I didn’t find out about until the next damn day. I hear Chris Brown and Rihanna were cuddled up at the ultra grown and sexy venue Verve Lounge.
But I got no pictures to prove it SOHH take it with a grain of salt.

LOL.. people have a fixed perception of Kanye and they are basing it off of the wrong things. think abou it in retrospect, tha MAN had great music... Classic Material in his hands for years, before it got to Jay's/Dame's ears.. Was shiittted on by labels and tha industry. Finally gets a chance to shine and people want to bring him down.
College Dropout was possibly tha best classic of this decade.
