CHERI DENNIS TAKES OVER THE APPLE STORE W/ GORILLA ZOE

Last night Cheri Dennis and her street team descended upon the Apple store in Soho (NYC) for an free in-store performance. For those who don’t know, Cheri’s album was initially released exclusively on itunes. Next Tuesday physical copies will finally hit stores.

It seems like they invited some sort of Big Brother/Big Sister program to attend the show because there were tons of kids outside when I got there. When Cheri arrived the young girls were visibly excited and I think someone even gave her flowers. After a quick soundcheck Cheri disappeared backstage to get glammed up. She emerged and performed songs like “I Love You” and “Portrait of Love” for a packed audience which included Nik (from America’s Next Top Model) and her Bad Boy labelmate Gorilla Zoe.

Cheri got the crowd involved in the action when she performed, "I Love You."

Cheri called Gorilla Zoe up on stage for her final song, "Portrait of Love."
