Valentines Day was an impressive one this year for me. While everyone was out running around trying to get their last minute gifts for their sweethearts, I [Gyant] was chatting it up with the Goddess of Bad Boy Miss Cheri Denis. While it seems that Cheri has been a staple on SOHH.com, she’s really just “that girl” we’ve come to turn too to give it to the people straight. And for the most part, in this interview you’re about to watch she doesn’t disappoint. That is until we touched on new Bad Boy Signee Janelle Monae. Check it out.
Cheri touched down in Atlanta to promote her new LP which you all can expect to hit stores on February 26th [Finally]. But y’all know how I do. I had to stir the pot regarding Janee. Look at this clip we cut of her first being asked about Janee about three weeks ago in NYC.
But look at her response now [1:54 minute mark]. I don’t know about y’all but it looks like Puffy got in that a*s and checked her because she appears to be giving a complete 180 degree answer.
It’s OK Cheri, we know how the Puffster can be. Everybody is scratching their heads on that new joint venture between Puffy and Janee anyway. No matter what they say, you are still “that girl” over at Bad Boy. Oh, and when you going to give us that reality show?

oooooooh I don't know 'bout chawll, but I cannot wait to see Janelle Monae on Tour. I saw her up here in the city at Spotlight Live and she was like a firecracker. It was like someone had one of them confetti guns and was just shootin it all over the audience. And the audience musta thought it was candy cause they stood there with their mouths open just trying to catch every morsel of her music in their mouths.
