Reg E. Cathey on his character, Norman Wilson, "I wanted him to have an affair with Carcetti's wife."

It's day 3 of The Wire week ya'll. Today I have the red carpet interview that I did with Reg E. Cathey the actor that plays Norman Wilson (Councilman Tommy Carcetti's deputy campaign manager). Dude kept it real saying that his "best memory" was finding out that he was going to be a regular on the show because that meant he would have work for the year. As he so eloquently put it, "I was happy to get the motherf*cking job." Lol.

He then went on to tell me about his rap group NWD (N*ggas with Degrees) which is comprised of a bunch of disgruntled actors who can't get film roles because, "Fiddy gotta work.”

Finally, Reg shared some of the suggestions he gave the writers for the final season of The Wire. He wanted his character to die of cancer and he wanted to have an affair with Carcetti’s wife. What do you guys think? Were these good ideas?
