Last week, I was invited to experience the launch and get a first look at a breakthrough T-Mobile phone (the Shadow) at the Bowery Hotel. For those of you who used to read SOHH On the Scene back in the Jackpot era you know he always gave props to Jackson Jeyanayagam from Waggener Edstrom for throwing the illest events. This one wasn't planned by Jax but it was a Waggener Edstrom event and it was definitely top notch.
In addtion to an incredible venue, the standard open bar and passed hor devours, they had a woman laying under burning candles, (slightly questionable) fortune tellers and a photo booth that party goers could pose in and have their pics projected on the wall (see below).
Gadget guru Just Blaze and Jaslene Gonzalez, the winner of Cycle 8 of America's Next Top Model, hit the red carpet.
Sean Malcolm (King magazine) insisted on taking a “drunk” picture with Aishah (Right On!/Black Beat).
Mims and myself (Danica).
Brian Miller (XXL magazine) and I.
Aishah and spoken-word impresario J. Ivy.
Clue!
Partygoers were treated to a performance by Bittersweet.
Brian Miller was kind enough to pose with a lovely lady for you guys.
Your old friend Jackpot was there but I got this weird feeling he was avoiding the camera.

Well what can I say, the chick that had the candles all over her boddy looked good and os did Jaslene of course. I would have liked to see th phone myslef, but hey we can't get what we want all the time.
