Russell Simmons, co-founder of the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, stopped by Morris Brown in Atlanta GA to discuss financial empowerment (sponsored by Chrysler Financial) this past weekend. Cassidy, Letoya Luckett, Jermaine Dupri, Doug E. Fresh, Young Berg, Drama and a host of others all came out to support one of the founding fathers (at least on the business side). I (Gyant) was on the scene to get some snapshots. Check SOHH Atlanta for all the video.
Cassidy came out to do more then do his drink and his two step.
Block Entertainment Crew & Greg Street
Freeway was there doing his thing.
Letoya Luckett took time out of recording her sophomore album to come and educate the ladies on the importance of putting that money away towards retirement.
Do y’all remember Little Chris from “Boyz N The Hood”? Check him getting some love from Letoya.
I don’t even know who this chick is, but she was the baddest one out that day. [Edit: This is Valeisha Butterfield, Executive Director of HSAN]
