Ok, so Jackpot is gone. That's something that we're all going to have to come to terms with. The days of taking pictures of every hot girl at a party or compiling a list of the "Baddest Industry Chicks" have come and gone. Even though Jackpot's no longer at SOHH, SOHH is still on the scene and as head blogstress in charge, I have been charged with keeping the blog alive. I know Jackpot left big shoes to fill so go easy on me.
He's baaaaack! Sam Ed and Cassidy
Last week, I dragged Sam Ed out of model retirement for a video shoot with Cassidy. We were already en route to J Records when we got the famous "we're running a little behind" call. Luckily, J has some pretty comfortable couches and a great view of Central Park so the wait was pretty painless. After about an hour they called us into the room for the interview. Cass was in there with two of his boys, both of whom slept through the entire interview. At one point dude in the chair did the whole - I just woke myself up snoring thing. It was really hard to keep a straight face.
Anyway, I asked Cassidy to clear up his Amusement Park freestyle where he says:
"I put a freestyle out on some plane Jane @#!*/And all the DJs, they called it a Lil' Wayne diss/I like Wayne and @#!*, everything he's spitting is hot/I said he should just stop kissing his pops/ And even though he stole my dance, I ain't getting at Joc/I thought the way the @#*$% flippin is hot,"
Though he thinks Wayne is one of the nicest dudes out right now he doesn't like his "gay actions" and he feels as though Wayne is not being a good role model. "You might got a bunch of other little people that respect you as a rapper that might be looking up to that and feeling though that's cool," says Cass.

It's true that picture can say a million words but you know, looking at the 'infamous' pic of wayne n baby...it don't even look like it is gay or affectionate in a homo way...If that was two dudes from the itallian mafia nobody would bat an eyelid!! Cassidy is a child. I think its better for one to form his opinions in his head in the private of his home before getting on camera. I'm not sure if he's talking about homosexuality or cross-dressing. If you dont like kissing your pops, dont do it.
