As much as I love hip-hop, bumping into these rappers is getting old.
The VMAs were a bit more diverse though. In addition to rappers, you could just run into rockers , actors, pro athletes, Reality TV stars and comedians at any given time.

My star encounters began early. It turns out that I flew in on the same plane as Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. I apparently also stayed in the same hotel as 8Ball & MJG and Dawn of Danity Kane. Sidebar. J Class argued me to death that I bumped into D. Woods and not Dawn. I obviously won that bet.

The BMI Urban Awards were interesting to say the least. Too bad we couldn't stay for the whole show. The first day ended at Rain Nightclub for MTV's Kick Off Party and later Club OPM.

You dun know Sunday was red carpet day. We end the night at Club OPM where Mad Linx was DJing.
David Banner and Mims made appearances. I've never seen anything like it. Banner, shirt off, stayed in the middle of the crowd and partied with the people the whole night.
Shouts to everybody who helped make my weekend smoother, Tuma, Matt, Mad Linx. Oh, and shouts to everybody in the Bay Area. I love the way you guys rep.
