In retrospect, a SOHH/Robin Thicke interview was never in the cards. We were slated to interview him in Las Vegas during the NBA All-Star weekend, but his plane got delayed in Cleveland.
We finally caught up to him at Debra Lee's My Black Is Beautiful Dinner in Los Angeles last week.

So I'm interviewing Thicke and get to my third question. "What's the album's next single," I ask. "Complicated," he replies. At that point, BET's Aleesha Renee, who was standing right next to us, lets out a "that's my song" kinda noise. He turns around, greets her and says the following.
Thicke: You don't mind if she takes my attention away from you do you?
Jackpot: Yes I do, but go ahead.
Just like that! Interview over! He played the doo doo out of me. You'll get to see the episode for yourself in an upcoming "Run That Back" segment, but in the meantime I have a visual for you guys.

I could have kept this under wraps, but that's just the kind of dude I am. I don't mind making ugly faces to make you guys laugh. I playfully confronted Aleesha Renee about cutting my interview short the next day.

I guess I shouldn't be mad. I mean I would have left my ass too if Aleesha Renee was standing next to me. Anyway, sorry for the lack of posts in the last week. I headed to DR straight from the BET Awards. Back to work!
