DJ/Streetball Player/Writer/Legend Bobbito Garcia released some pics of his upcoming "Kool Bob Love" Hi's on his blog. So far we're getting to see two and a half colorways. There's Puerto Rico Red (seen above) and the Puerto Rico Blue which obviously pay tribute to Bobbito's heritage and the Mac and Cheese which we're only getting to see half of.

Judging from the heel this one is looking kind of Timberlandish which could be a very good thing for fall. Maybe this is what Bobbito was talking about when he told me these new releases were something that you can wear everyday.

Also, these pictures of 24kt gold plated Macbook Pro have been making their rounds on the internet. A company called Computer Choppers has taken computer customization to a whole new level. Instead of getting a laptop skin you can ship your Macbook off to them and get it gold plated for $1200 to $1500. And for an additional $2,400 you can add a diamond encrusted Apple symbol.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. This is a handcuff bracelet. H-town rapper Paul Wall and comedian Jamie Kennedy got inspired by all the celebs getting thrown in the slammer (Paris, Lindsay Lohan, Foxy, Remy) and came up with these Iced Out Cuff Bracelets.

"My boy Jamie Kennedy came up with the idea because a lot of celebrities kept going to jail," says Paul Wall. "There are two sizes large for guys and small for the ladies. They are made just like real handcuffs and we also sell the keys as a necklace. They also have a safety release so you don't actually need the key to unlock them."

These cuffs are available on http://www.grillsbypaulwall.com

Saturday, after it stopped raining I trekked over to Rumsey Playfield in Central Park for the New York-Tokyo Music Festival 2007. There were scheduled performances by MF Doom, Pharoahe Monch, Collie Buddz, the Teriyaki Boyz, DJ Uppercut and Rosco P Coldchain. Though I didn't exactly get to stay for the show I did get to cruise through the exhibit area while listening to the sounds of the Kool DJ Red Alert.

They had a game zone where people huddled around playing EA Skate, a skate zone where Pro riders from Zoo York and Nike SB sessioned on a 4' x 12' mini halfpipe and an art zone which featured work from Shin Tanaka and the Avenue A Skateboard Show.

For those who don't know, Shin Tanaka is a Japanese artist, graffiti writer, paper toy creator and designer who has collaborated with Nike, Adidas and Reebok. He had these handmade paper toys on display. They are each one of a kind and feature Tanaka's signature and a "1 of 1" on the bottom of their sneakers.

The other exhibit that caught my eye was Mike A's Avenue A Skateboard Show. It's an exhibit that goes down at this Japanese Restaurant and Gallery called Avenue A in NYC. It features over 30 artists and 40 painted decks. Check out some pics:

Last night, thanks to Chase over at AccessPR I got to attend a 2K Sports' Lifestyle Press Reception at Tenjune. In addition to checking out a complete version of 2K8 (the last preview only featured the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest), I found out about the new in-game celebrity players and some exclusive soundtrack info.

Q-Tip, Chris Paul and Bobbito.

In 2K8 you'll get a chance to play as Q-Tip, Common, DJ Steve Aoki, and Entourage’s Jerry ‘Turtle’ Ferrara (the first non-music related Hollywood actor to appear as a playable character in an NBA game) as well as Aceyalone, ?uestlove, and Phife Dog who appeared in NBA 2K7.

Check out some pics:

Q-Tip told me that his "natural point guard build" allows him to "break ankles."

I love how they have Common playing in his signature hat.

This is Jerry "Turtle" Ferrara's Model Sheet.

The official soundtrack features classics like Run DMC's "Sucka MC's," left field picks like Devo's "Through Being Cool" and three exclusive original tracks from the legendary J.Dilla with some impressive collaborations, including Q-Tip with Talib Kweli, Common and Madlib.

The folks from 2K Sports also announced for the first time that they're collaborating with Jordan Brand to produce a limited edition 2K Sports sneaker. Only a 100 pairs are being created and they will be available through various promotions around December or January.

And speaking of sneakers, Bobbito told me he has some more Nikes coming out later this year. They're hightops this time around and he assures me that they're something you can wear every day. He promised to hook SOHH Official up with the pictures before Nike officially releases them, so look out for that.

For all of you hardcore gamers, here are some screenshots of 2K8 which will be available October 2nd for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2.

And here's some info:

• It features all-new play modes, defensive mechanics, off-ball controls, a radically improved franchise mode and more. Highlights include:

• “Lock-On-D” is one of the newest features in NBA 2K8, giving you more control in playing physical defense. Gamers can now push and ride ball-handlers to keep them in front of the defense and making turnovers.

• “Off-Ball Control” is another new feature that allows gamers to take control of two players at the same time to setup quick screen, post-up, and other off ball plays.

• The all-new Sprite Slam Dunk Challenge is one of the most fun and unique features, letting players go head to head against a friend in a creative slam dunk face-off.

Fonzworth Bentley AKA The First Gentleman of Hip Hop thinks you're disrespectful but don't take it personally. Apparently we are living in the "the Golden Age of Disrespect." Luckily, he has the anecdote. Diddy's former personal assistant (*coughs* manservant) is getting ready to release his first book, Advance Your Swagger which will help you "step up your game, advance your swagger, get ahead, and live out your dreams."

The book will break down the do’s and “oh no you di’int’s” of cell phones, e-mail, and text messaging, the art of eating well and everything in between. It comes out next Tuesday (the 25th) but you can get your pre-order on at Amazon.
Jackpot recently caught up with Lloyd on the red carpet wearing some Robocop type outfit. If you didn't see it already, check out this video where the R&B singer talks style.

And last but not least, here's the final installment of Gettin' Krispy with Kia Shine. In this Webisode Kia goes shopping for some clothes and a ridiculously expensive belt.

The next two tees are from Karmaloop Kazbah. The first one is the Originator from Bonafide Icon which gives props to Michael Jordan for being the original sneaker pimp. It comes in red, white and black and can be purchased for $34 bucks here.

This last shirt is Gold Coin's Super Ultra 2.0 Tee which pokes fun at all the overhyped pieces of clothing out there. It reads "super ultra exclusive one of one limited edition dopest sh!t ever." The gotcha gotcha is that they're only printed 300 of these shirts. You can cop yours here.

This is the second to last installment of Gettin' Krispy with Kia Shine. This time around Kia takes us to what appears to be some dude's basement to pick up some bejeweled sneakers. The shoes in question are called Traffic Jamz and they are from Kia's own line of high end sneakers. The cool part of this video is that you get to see the designer (Archie) creating a pair of shoes from start to finish.

If you've seen the new video for the Chris Brown/T-Pain joint "Kiss, Kiss" you probably saw Chris Brown wearing this new Staple Varsity Pigeon Jacket. It's from their Fall/Winter 2007 collection titled “Only the Educated are Free.”

What's funny about this is that Jeff Staple spotted the Jacket in CB's video before he even had one for himself.
Anyway, check out the video and my favorite t-shirt from the collection:

Forat has customized drum machines and keyboards for everyone from Prince and Dr. Dre to Jermaine Dupree and Madonna.

This article isn't brand new but something tells me most of you guys don't read Interior Design. They got all up in Kanye's LA pad which features a fishtank in the bathroom, Warhols on the wall, a Michelangelo-esque ceiling in the dining room and of course Louis Vuitton suitcases scattered around. The only thing that tips you off that the home is in fact owned by a rapper is the closet full of kicks. Alright folks, it's time for the next installments of Gettin' Krispy with Kia Shine. In the first webisode Kia (would you call him Kia or Shine?) shows us how he avoids dirty dread syndrome and gets his locs styled into the... "preppy look" (not to be confused with the "rockstar look"). Then he heads over to the barbershop to where he gets his "hairline krispy" and a "facial, face wash." Even if you don't care about Kia Shine you might find these webisodes mildly entertaining.

Last week the folks from Midway came out from Cali to give the press a look at their Holiday 2007 releases. With plenty of food and drinks on hand, I got to sit down, grab the controllers and talk to the developers of each game.

The first game I checked out was Stranglehold which continues the story of John Woo's influential action film, Hard Boiled. Playing as Chow Yun-Fat you're on a mission to take down the organized crime bosses who took your family.

One of the best features of Stranglehold is its destructible environments. Instead of bumping into chairs and tables you just bust right through them. If a bad guy is hiding behind a pillar or a car, just shoot it up and expose him. You also have the ability to swing from chandeliers, slide on railings and jump and ride on serving carts (just like in the John Woo movies). And your enemies have incredibly realistic reaction sequences depending on where you shoot them (eye, nose, mouth, throat, knees, elbows and the most popular... groin).

Check out the throat shot below:

      And here's the trailer:

Stranglehold is already available for Xbox 360. The Playstation 3 version is gonna hit stores next week (September 17th).

After getting all kinds of shot up playing Stranglehold I checked out a game that is a little bit more my speed, Game Party for the Wii. This game is perfect for a house party, it features virtual versions of about 12 classic party games, like darts, table hockey, arcade basketball and a thinly veiled version of beer pong called ping cup. Game Party hits store in November.

Lastly, I got a sneek peek of the game that's based on the hit comedy series from Adult Swim - Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am is described as an action-adventure combat golf, cart racing game. It's definitely not going to win any awards for originality and the graphics looked downright old school compared to Stranglehold but this game has just enough filthy humor to keep fans of the show entertained for hours. It comes out in November. Here's the trailer:

From now on, Tuesdays are going to be T-Shirt Tuesdays where I feature the hottest or most ridiculous tees that I've come across in the past week. If you have any suggestions hit me with an e-mail at official@sohh.com.

Ok, let's get into it for this week. First off, after Britney's horrendous performance at the VMA's on Sunday I thought it was only right to include this equally horrendous shirt from Sneak Peak that they just got in at World NYC. I actually think the shirt is clever but, umm, who wants to wear that?
