Last week the good people over at Waggener Edstrom (what up Jax?) threw a launch party at the Edison Ballroom here in NYC for the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Phone. Though the party overall was a bit tamer then some previous T-Mobile events, they still went all out. This event featured a full open bar, mini burgers, quiche, pigs in a blanket and a waffle station and fondue set up for dessert.
For entertainment, they had heavily buzzed about up and comers Kid Cudi and Chester French but the main attraction of the event was…. The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Phone, of course.
This phone, which hits T-Mobile retailers TODAY, features easy-to-use external music controls, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, wired stereo headsets, a USB cable for side-loading music and a memory card.
An optional 4GBs gets you enough memory for up to 3,000 songs and the phone itself offers up to 18 hours of music playback. Pretty impressive. You have your pick of black/red, black/purple and black/orange.

Hmm I had the 5300 and it was good for what it was worth..I now have a sidekick lx and I like it much better!!!!...The only thing about both phones is the camera phone SUCKS!!!

I work for T-Mobile and the camera on the 5310 is much better than the LX or the 5300. It is 2.0 Megapixel. The phone comes with a 1GB microsD memory card as well.

Lame NIGGAS ... get some of the HTC Ultimate phones ... Windows Mobile with AUDIO STREAM kicks ass ... and PDA functionality rules ... way better than streamlined playback functions from Symbian OS based phones ...
HTC is killing it ... dide i mention you can get Tom Tom, a free GPS system with it too?
But yeah ... HTC phones will probably set you back like 800 - 900 dollars ...

Hmm its an ok phone, I might get it as a second phone but my Blackberry Bold 9000 does all of that and then some so I'm good.
