Diddy & MTV Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Sean John

Over the weekend I got word that MTV is going to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Diddy’s Sean John label by showing a documentary called, “If I Were King.” My initial reaction was, “Sean John has been around for 10 years!?” Apparently it has.

According to the press release, “If I Were King” gives viewers a private look into Diddy’s preparations for his label’s first runway show in five years. In the trailer below we see the mogul meet with his team of designers about leather quality (“We’re buggin’ right now”) and give his models a big pep talk before they rip the runway. It looks pretty good to me. You know Diddy always makes good TV.

“If I Were King” debuts Wednesday, April 9th at 10p.m. ET. Who’s tuning in?

Apparently no one cares

I don't even know why anyone encourages this guy anymore to be honest

sexsee:

I Care, He employs a lot of peopla and he does this because he likes doing it. He does not have to do anything if he does not want to. He has 400 mil in the bank.

Jigga:

good sense. I mean very good sense of judegment

This clown Diddy does NOT know how to promote anyone other than himself. That's why everyone he signs always ends up leaving and anyone else is still stuck under contract. Anyone who is really fascinated by this garbage is a sad individual indeed. Only thing that P-Shitty ever did right was The Notorious B.I.G., but what's fucked up is how Diddy is exploiting Big's legacy and extorting money from Big's mother. I don't care how rich he is, there's NO excuse for that. Whatever happened to Black Rob, Craig Mack, and G. Dep? We ALL know what happened to Shyne...

Sure Fluffy has a lot of money, but that really doesn't mean shit. Especially since he made it all from acting like a one-man minstrel show. The only reason Diddy gets promoted so much is because MTV, BET, VH1, and various other Caucasian-owned networks will stop at nothing to degrade, stereotype, and misrepresent black people as a race on national television and in the media, and Diddy is just the man who represents everything that's wrong with black people today, therefore, that's the nigga who's gonna become richer than all the other niggaz out there. Jay-Z is another prime example...he has fucked us over so badly that the white man rewarded him with a $150 million dollar record deal. Why is THIS what black people have to do to become a success in this world? I'd rather die broke than to sell my integrity. But what's sad is that this is a standard not too many of our people live by anymore.

What happen to G-dep- in and out of jail for guns and fighting!
Craig Mack- one hit wonder and he is ugly
Black Rob- had albums no one bought them did you?
Should I continue?

The Nerve:

Fuck all yours haters !! Diddy is the man the king of entertainment. He could teach the world...

Gentlmen Thug :

We may all not like alot of things about Puff, but the one thing that we can say about dude is that he employs alot of black people, especially if your not lazy. When it's all said and done he's going down as one of the best that ever done it.

Man, you gullible losers will fall for anything...you guys just aren't ready to listen. You don't realize that you're contributing to the downfall of our music and our race.

i really do not see how the action of one black man represents the actions of all black men...if that was so then we would all be viewed as visionaRY MEN OF GREAT STANDING LIKE THE LIKES OF MARTIN LUTHER KING AND THEM.....to all the people speaking ill of p diddy, look at all the people you are accusing him of not helping get out...what other black men of power have stepped up to help the g deps and black robs of our society....talented brothers who do not seem to have the self control and discipline to make something out of their abundant talent.....diddy did and is doing what every man in the world is supposed to do, learn the system and play the system....to the guy who say he would rather die poor than blah blah blah....come over to africa and spend a day in my peoples shoes...you atleast have the time to sit on your computer and whine about another man of color making it in this hard harsh color coded world....get a new perspective of viewing diddy as a man representing diddy and not the whole black race b....
