Over the weekend I got word that MTV is going to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Diddy’s Sean John label by showing a documentary called, “If I Were King.” My initial reaction was, “Sean John has been around for 10 years!?” Apparently it has.
According to the press release, “If I Were King” gives viewers a private look into Diddy’s preparations for his label’s first runway show in five years. In the trailer below we see the mogul meet with his team of designers about leather quality (“We’re buggin’ right now”) and give his models a big pep talk before they rip the runway. It looks pretty good to me. You know Diddy always makes good TV.
“If I Were King” debuts Wednesday, April 9th at 10p.m. ET. Who’s tuning in?

This clown Diddy does NOT know how to promote anyone other than himself. That's why everyone he signs always ends up leaving and anyone else is still stuck under contract. Anyone who is really fascinated by this garbage is a sad individual indeed. Sure Fluffy has a lot of money, but that really doesn't mean shit. Especially since he made it all from acting like a one-man minstrel show. The only reason Diddy gets promoted so much is because MTV, BET, VH1, and various other Caucasian-owned networks will stop at nothing to degrade, stereotype, and misrepresent black people as a race on national television and in the media, and Diddy is just the man who represents everything that's wrong with black people today, therefore, that's the nigga who's gonna become richer than all the other niggaz out there. Jay-Z is another prime example...he has fucked us over so badly that the white man rewarded him with a $150 million dollar record deal. Why is THIS what black people have to do to become a success in this world? I'd rather die broke than to sell my integrity. But what's sad is that this is a standard not too many of our people live by anymore.
