I really don't care where you are from as long as you make good music. However let me DUMB IT DOWN to your reasoning level for a minute. Yes the south is on "top" right now. However they are on top at a time when sales of hiphop/ rap albums are at an all time low overall.
Let me just say that a lot of you still have a slave mentality. That plan that Willie Lynch wrote for keeping the slaves/ blacks divided and at each other is still working to this day. Some of you perpetrate it by arguing and showing hate towards each other because of the region you are from which by the way none of you have control of or own.

I'm from The South, and 3-6 Mafia sucks. But I'ma keep it even more 100 than that. A lot of the people down South are direct descendants of that ignorant field hand philosophy that taught them massa would beat them if they read a book. The rappers reflect this ignorance, and they perpetuate it, because they know that's their fan base. Yes, musically, it is funky. Again, that's derivative of our rhytmic African heritage. But lyrically, what 3-6 and a bunch of other Southern artists so is proof that the slave trade STILL has a profound effect on us colored folk.
As far as these clothes... hell, they went Hollywood after that bogus Oscar. What else can we expect?

Yes overall music sales are down but right now R&B sales for example is still doing okay ( examples Alicia keys, mary j. blige, keisha coles, chris brown, john legend etc etc,). R&B sales>>>>>>> hiphop sales. Hip hop sales are really suffering right now. Down big time in this DUMB IT DOWN era.
